and where did you get your harddrive from for your PS2 does it connect to the network adaptor

i got my harddrive off of ebay , the hd loader reccomends using either a Maxtor or Hitachi HDD , i bought a Maxtor

and yes the HD connects through the network adapter , and the hd loader advance 2.0 supports HD's up to 250 gigs

Great thanx i got like 5 harddrives and ima buy the adapter soon so how do you like it so far

its been great so far , games on the hd load must faster , and i would say about 90% of the games are compatable , heres a couple sites where you can get more info , they both have game compatibility lists , check em out

most of the games i did were 2gigs

examples - GTA san andreas , ghosthunter , need for speed 2

those were all 2 gigs , oh except GTA it was 4 gigs , from what ive see , 2-6 gigs is probably average , but i know some go up too 9gigs

i only got a 80gig harddrive because i get bored with games easily , and i will just delete

did you get the slide tool

no , you do not need the slide tool , unless you are using swapmagic

but if you want it for other reasons , dont get it , get the flip top instead

i kinda worded this wrong , so im gonna fix it

you dont need the slide tool for hd advance , or the flip top , but if you were to buy swapmagic (which allows you to play backups) then dont get the slide tool , just get a flip top , its much better
seems pretty user friendly, thinking bout doing it for my son. great info, thanks

yes it is very easy to use
