Connection to CPU

i just got my xbox tonight. i want to know what kind of cable i need to connect my xbox into my cpu and how.

from xbox-scene.com i saw this program called xbtool that can chance led color..etc. but my problem is that i dont know how to use it, as in do i put it onto a cd and then into my xbox or do i need a cable to connect to my xbox and do it that way.

In short terms, what kind of cable do i need in order to do xbox software mods.

If you dont want the hassle of hard moding it you can always softmod it. Go to xbox-scene.com forums and search for softmod and you'll get everything from them

Would I Be able to Softmod My Xbox And Burn Games to The Drive and Would I Need the xbox USB Cable because i Do not have a router

ANYWAY. yes, i do have a router and use an ethernet cable to connect my xbox to it. but from xbox-scene they get me lost with network settings, ftps, and other terms that just lose me.

I want to know what kind of connection i need for modding, not xbox live
