I'm always impressed with NSFAN updates i know he improved the sms on landscape mode...and few others I'm happy with this rom version.

for those of you running the latest, v110, rom, is the people tab dialer fixed? reason I ask, i use the people tab a lot especally to make a quick call to a fav contact work or cell number.

also, can you assign custom text tones?

I found on v109 I could not assign any custom tone for a new text message. i could only use the ones included in the rom......i even did a reg edit and could not get a custom tone.

yeah its a shame, still a really great rom tho, sux when things you depend on daily dont work, my biggest problem right now is the gold bling theme that i luv doesnt work right on 109 or 110 only worked on 108, so it has to do with the build. The slider window doesnt show the icon thru it at the bottom, drives me nuts, but I love the theme and the rom so i live with it, lol!

ok, i've been trying to install this rom with no success at all. i'm sure i'm just missing a step is all. so heres what i'm doing... i sync my touch pro, then start the ROM update utility.exe, (the app finds my phone and everything) then after i click next on the 3 or so screens it looks like the install is going through. it shows the progress bar at 0% (on pc and touch). it stays like that for about 8 to 10 mins then a message comes up saying "the ROM utility has encountered communication errors during the update process." then it tells me how to restart mt touch. i've tried this on both vista and xp. any help would be much appreciated. :)

is your phone unlocked?

are you in bootloader mode?

Sry about not posting an intro... but now its done and done. i did try it in bootloader mode too and when i went to the forum on how to flash, under the touch pro instructions there was a link to show how to unlock my phone, but when i clicked on it i was told i "sufficient privileges to access this page." sooo, i'm kinda stuck here now.

Information Support click on Join a Group and become a Software member then you will be able to download.

well u can.... u just have to have a wma format file to use as a custom txt ...... convert anything into wma n put it into /windows folder..... then go to sounds n notifications n there will be ur custom sound file..... i have a lot of them on mine v109......

no probs man... n trust me it works... thats what i've been doing...... ringtones r no problem but txt and email tones has to be wma.... and clock sounds has to be wmv.... u can even have custom sounds for alarm clock...

make sure u cut up the ring tone to keep it small though, cause it will fill up the internal memory quick... just a piece of advice :)

I had that same issue, which was one of many i had w/ the updated... so disappointed as I had 1.0.9 working flawlwess... then i went n treid to fix what wasnt broken and got bit in the a$$...lol I had the 6.5 wallpaper error which completly made my screen out of wack, rom was alost unusable... had to go back to 1.0.9, but at least now my sashimi works... i geuss everyones experience will be different as wcked seems to love it... but personally, id say if your happy on 1.0.9 or and older version, stick to it... not worth the switch...

i finally got sashimi to work. it appears, for some unknown reason the SASHIMI/AUTO/CERT folder was curupted. I still don't know why.but there were a boatload of folders in the folder with garbage/ GIGO/ odd names. i moved all the custom files out of sashimi and deleted the program folder off of my SD card. i reinstalled the sashimi cab and everything worked flawlessly. i moved all my custom files back to sashimi and was back in business.

i never had that problem before and i have not checked to see if it was the ROM itself, but i can assume it was. it seemed like the rom was writing files to that folder for some reason and that caused the error. btw i had already taken the SD card out of the phone when i flashed (as i always do) and it started when i reinstalled the SD card and ran sashimi for the first time.

anyway, i hope this helps.

1st love the rom! I cant get this Brian's wm6.5 Taskbar to work properly? All the icons are changed except the Bar Signal is still set to the standard wm. Lastly I cant get Opera Favorites to work? It works as far as opening Opera's browser up but cant "Import"! I get an error"windows\opera9\opera6.tx cant be opened"!

brians taskbar is made for gsm so that one icon will not work for that reason if your cdma

Found fix, but cant change file name?? How do u save the change using TC? Everytime I change the mui to the mui_z it doesnt save the change??

This can be fixed after installing this taskbar go to windows folder of your device and you should see these 2 files shellres.192.dll and shellres.192.dll.0409.mui first rename shellres.192.dll.0409.mui toshellres.192.dll.0409.mui_z andthenrename the shellres.192.dll to shellres.192.dll.0409.mui in the windows folder of your device using either Total Commander or Resco File explorer soft reset that should do the trick! If this sounds complicated then post here with the name of that file in the windows folder of your device example shellres.192.dll.0409.mui or whatever it is then I can post a cab fix here!

2lo, if you want to import your favorites on opera you first need to go and save your favorites by bookmarking them in opera (go to the site click on the star at the bottom, then the plus symbol at the bottom, then the check mark, and then it should be saved. Do that for all of your favorite sites then go and click on import and then it will tell you opera will now try to import your favorites. hit ok and then once it is done it will tell you how many favorites were imported and you should be done.

I'm still waitin to see if someone can help me to remove the bluetooth notification that keeps popping up. Maybe one of you guys now how to remove the bluetooth notification all together. I dont care for it one way or the other. I just hate lookin at my phone and it tell me there is a notification only to see that the notification is only the phone telling me "bluetooth on".

are you trying to import the favs to PIE or import the favs to opera? I'm confused.....


anyway, opera favs are stored in Windows/Opera9/opera6.adr
opera cookies are stored in Windows/Opera9/cookies4

if you copy both of them from the root and replace them after a flash you should be good.

they are huge you cant attach a file that big without waiting for an hour or longer..... and you need to have the roms in a zip or rar folder to be able to upload since those formats are accepted.... the best way to go is to upload through mediafire or rapidshare if you have a premium account or a colectors account where the downloads are deleted after 10 clicks of the link
