Hey Guys,
I have been everywhere trying to find an answer to my question in the title.
I ordered my touch pro off e-bay flashed to work for cricket and Im curious to find out what Rom I'm running, Im assuming it has to be a custom ROM but I have no idea. To add to that question if I am running a less than optimal ROM would trying to upgrade screw up my flash? If so I really have no problems with my phone right now, everything works great. I just have a complex with wanting the best of the best and when I read about you guys running KAOS and Mighty Rom it makes me want more, Lol!!! I appreciate any help anyone can give me.

Can I get a little help then, I tried to go to the general discussion forum and the rules say no new threads, posts, etc.. and the off the topic forum has nothing regarding phones at all? I tried finding a forum strictly for touch pros but I really had no luck with that either. Where can I post this question? thanks for the help.

not gonna gripe since jew got you taken care of and to tell the version of your rom go to start/settings/system/system info and you will find what you are looking for there..... than just plug them numbers into google and you will find where the source is.....

dont even flash stock, not worth it. they will prolly just take ur batt and put it in the battery tester.

lol, thanks Ive already gotten ripped pretty good a couple times now for posting in the wrong spot, but I understand, you guys run a very well kept and organized site and for the most part I've found anything and everything I was looking for, except the right place to post :rules: LoL! this is not where to ask that and read the atr thread been said there many times!!!!! read the thread in the future instead of being lazy and posting in the wrong area since this has nothing to do with the atr rom..... just flash back to stock and than that will go away...

whats good Dash... I actually literally just went back to the sprint stock rom and atr 3 still shows up as the first image... and i need to take my phone back but i just wanted to let you know that didnt work for me.. (and if you want could you tellme what to do or do I need to search the atr thread?)

Ok i went there and it told me to come here and go to stock rom and radion and pull battery and hard reset.. I did all that but ive never changed my radio before and i think it is the regular stock radio anyway.. and i hardrest and all that and still no dice... sorry if this isn't on topic but my phone us so jacked i need another one asap..

radios are flashed the same way as a rom would be, and if that didnt work you can look through the atr rom thread for alternative methods.

radios all depend on your area.... take a look at this thread for some guidance on what will work best for you.... but remember this is a guide and not definate so use it as that

When you flash a stock rom does it include the stock radio? I have to return a phone and I don't want them to void the warrant. I flashed to the newer stock rom 2.01.651.6 and I'm not sure if I need to flash a stock radio with it. I'm guessing not because I looked under device info and it says that I have the 1.12.34F rom....which is a sprint one.

yes that is sprint and thats why the stock roms are larger in size since they do include a radio so you should be good to go.... you relocked the phone too so you covered all bases correct?

Damn, I hope that I don't end up with an extra charge. I got them to send me a new phone by telling them that I was only recieving about half of my calls and the other half would just go right to voicemail.....which was true for the past 4 months or so. But now I just relocked and called in 10 times and all of them went through......that never happend before, no matter what rom or radio. So IDK if it is because it is relocked or because of a fresh hard reset or what, but i know that they can charge you if the glitch can't be repeated.

just boot into bootloader and tell me what it says in the upper right all lines.... and for the other they dont test the phones and stuff like that can depend on area as well.
