what about a custom design? what i think would be cool is a "Ford" or "Ford Racing" lettering down the battery cover and maybe the ford blue and red letters. im a big ford guy...or "Mustang" Down the middle..oh the ideas. any idea how id getsomething like this? tape it off befre i put it in the dye?

i use pinstriping from HME firetrucks and thats a lot of writing for a cover since you really dont have that much room...

would be a little hard without having any bleeding...... and if you want i can see where i put the pinstriping and i can send some over to you..... works very well and sticks without letting anything under or going through to protect when you want hard lines.... best stuff i have used to do these thus far and cant imagine anything better...... if i find it i will send you a pm and get that out for you.

yeah thats true..might be hard. or even something like this would be cool. dont know how hard it would be. kinda looks like it would be the same as the Wckediden one you made for the raffle dash.

Y dont you try this buy a set of mustang letters like this and stick em on ur pro before u dye it once dyed take sticker off and walla just not sure wether or not the stickers would fall but worth a try .

yeah that would work. but if im right those letters are for the windshield of a mustang. cause ive thought about buying them. i havent been able to find any small enough to fit on the pro.

or maybe buy one of the GT emblems and put that on there before i dye it...it wouldnt red tho. i guess i could hand paint the GT after everything else is dyed.

deff gonna need some extra covers. any idea where i can find extra ones for alltel? i saw where i could go into a sprint repair shop, but thats for sprint.

Nah bro dye the battery covers first with the color u want ur letters to be u then stick bumpers mustang stickers which are alot better stick then u dye it another color right over top then take stickers off and there yoou go bro

go to your local repair center, when they send phones back after they are claimed or cant be fixed they gut them of everything but hte phone itself and keep the parts in the back...... just go up and ask for one and most places wont have a problem giving you at least one or a couple...

Yeah i took your suggestion and used the microwave/styrofoam idea, I took the blue and the yellow mixed them to get green and made the whole back cover green, then i let it dry for a bit, then put waterresistant tape over where i wanted the VX to be then i just added black to the mixture i already had, reheated it for another minute and after the black exploded all over the microwave ( i decided i left it in there a little too long the second time ) I put the TP cover back in with the tape on and after about 25 seconds of soaking i dried off the back cover and let it dry a little while then took the tape off and the edges are almost perfect up close :P i have a few more interesting ideas to do :) might do an alienware one to go with probex's theme, just gotta get the green right,,,

i did the green for the huk phone also and you add more yellow than you do blue.... and i used royal and not denim blue on mine since wont darken as fast...... and your supposed to jsut icrowave the water and not the dye..... take some rubbing alcohol and that should take it off of your micro.

this is a combo of 8ml kelly green 3.5ml lemon yellow liquid rit dye in 3/4 cup of water
