I think many people DO APPRECIATE the efforts but there is an unhealthy obsession with getting "thanks" on this site like I have never seen anywhere else before. In some threads the same people are thanked for posts multiple times. it is almost comical. The fact this site is busy and people come and post is proof enough that people DO appreciate the info here.

You should not need to be "thanked". The people who contribute here the most (and they know who they are) ARE RESPECTED across the net and in the community. Respect is way more important then clicking a "thanks" button.

Sure you can hit a "thanks" button I guess, BUT LONG BEFORE I actually came to this site I had heard about Dash, Ice, Superman and the other regulars here from other people on other sites. People respected them for their efforts. That is real and extends beyond the borders of this site. Hitting the thanks button is just an ego boost. They should be PROUD of the reputation they have built that extends well past this site. I was told about this site from an employee at a Radio Shack who personally told me the names I mentioned previously and how helpful and well known they were in the mobile phone/windows mobile/gadget world. That is real.

Well I tried to edit the post and remove the one line about the English language, but can't seem to do it. I will happily remove that one line.

But I stand by the rest of my post. The respect I have for Dash, Ice, Superman and the other veterans and leaders here is way more important (to me) then some thanks button IMO. We can agree to disagree.

Think of the "Thanks Button" as your payment to us.....we dont have to help you guys with anything in this "FREE" community. We provide sevices on our own time with NO pay, so all we ask is you hit a little button on the post.

The reason for the Thank You button is so that members can show appreciation for what a staff or even a member do.Rather its giving an advice or sharing info, program or whatever.I don't see a problem on how many times a post or a user get thanks.

I think i said this several times before we (Wckediden) is a unique forum.Not every forum owner has the features as we do.And that whats make Wckediden what it is now.

I appreciated that respect in this forum should be in order.We have other countries that visit here too,I don't need that type of comment here (rather the statement was retracted) i speak two languages..I'm a little weak on Spanish but i can hold a intelligent conversation. o with that said lets stay on topic and let someone benefit from this post and give thanks.

Hey maybe this isn't the best place to ask this, but I got everything to work except the background image. When I change the BG image it only changes for the Home tab not the rest of the tabs.... Can I just rename the image file and drop it into the Windows folder so overwrites the default image and then its on all tabs???? Can someone let me know what to name to image file and the size it needs to be to drop in windows folder?

you're gonna need the background for all tabs cab...i believe you can find it in taylorWckediden's tweaks/hacks thread...but if not just search backgroundalltabs<-----Just like that and you should find it...or i believe mighty's rom and some themes already have that tweak activated.

yea photoshop,paintpro. other programs like that....replacing the original files....not an easy thing to do....we dont have a tutorial on that here which im sure would be your next question.....use google and see if ya come up with anything.....

yup just as taylor said... you take all the manila files from the windows folder (or from a premade theme) and than change each individual one to what you want and than save with the same name and when all thousand or so images are complete zip em up and use the touchflo 2d config tool to choose.....

can someone help me, I have the whole .theme thing down packed, but everytime I run the program I pick the path hit apply and nothing happens. The start button comes up but there is no name next to file. When I hit the start button it says changing registry but nothing happens, the phone just get stuck on the screen and I have to soft rest. what am I dong wrong?

your running on the mogul and this si for vga screens and not qvga which your phone has... and also you dont have touchflo 3d or any of the manila files to overwrite in the windows folder thus why it freezes... i would be more careful in the future and watch what you installl by reading the first psot since it clealry stated throughout this thread and there that this ewas for the touchflo 3d phones only.....

you must look for the folder the theme file is stored in, HIGHLIGHT the folder, dont open it and press ok, the theme should appear on the drop down menu now

just make sure the theme is extracted

I did all that, the theme shoes up in the drop box but when I hit start "Changing Registry" comes up but nothing happens, the phone freezes and I have to soft rest

Its probably the theme your tryin to install... try downloadin it again... if it still a no go... go with what works...

Well i dont know how to share this with Wckediden, cause i cant post new threads, and cant figure out how to make my profile better but im finding stuff and thought id share this. Its an updated tf3d conf tool with a working version of the tweaks. if anybody knows how help me help you with what im finding please let me know.

Thanks for the share... Im sure one of my fellow staff junkies will add this to the first post after checking it out l8a... i would, but Im at work and cant check it out just yet... Also if you give us the updated info, like the version number, and what the new build change are that have been made, so we can update the first post appropriatly... thanks!

Also to make new release threads, you have to join the members software group as an uploader... just like you did to be able to download...

Thanks for the input. I gotta say this is the most helpful place to come for actual help instead of blah blah. I havent had to ask to many questions, but im just getting in to this stuff.

The version is 0.6.7. of diamond tf3d configuration from xda developers.

This version gives the wakeup on sms, manual screen rotation, and some other tweaks im still playin with. Working just fine though for me.
