all you need to do is click on the rapidshare link, make sure your phone is hooked up to active sync, when the tab comes up to save, run, or close, choose run. An install wizard will come up just follow the steps. Then on phone go to start_settings_owner information, change the name to Crackedbydash, pull up gh3 and type in code and you will be set!

lol this is great reading these things. But i have a small question. Do you have to be online with the phone so it downloads the songs each time? Like an internet connection?

I was directed to this site for this game alone, however, now that I am here I am glad I went searching for this game.

Although I did DL the game, I am not sure I want to go through have to change the owner name & etc. Mainly because i don't want to give D/\SH all those points, lol

I did also DL the multiuser hack but I am not sure I want to use that neither. Either way, good looking out on GH3.

Hey Guys,

I wrote this mortscript, script so that you can keep your owner name when the game is not in use

RegWriteString ("HKCU","ControlPanel\Owner","Name","Crackedbydash ")

Runwait( "\Program Files\GuitarHeroMobile\GuitarHeroMobile.exe" )

RegWriteString ("HKCU","ControlPanel\Owner","Name","Owner Name")

Just change “Owner Name” to your regular owner name.

This changes the owner name to Crackedbydash, launches the program and then changes the owner name back when you exit the program.

Just install and register Guitar Hero as noted above and then you can use this to launch it in the future without losing any of your other registrations.

I have attached a version with a launcher. Just edit the GuitarLauncher.mscr with wordpad.

hmmm, I feel like such a nooB now trying to learn what mortscript is used for.

I always seen talk about it on XDA and places like that but never gave it 2 looks.

So with this you are basiclly saying that after you install MortScripts & Guitar Hero 3 whenever you want to play GH3 you then go to mortscript/guitarlauncher.mscr and the game will load?

But then D/\SH will still get all the points right, :moon: :haha:

But seriously, I haven't installed the game yet, I was actually getting ready to til I checked the new post first. :fear: So I wasn't sure if the game itself added a link to the main directory for this game. i.e. START/PROGRAMS/GAMES/ but if it does it is going to go straight to GuitarHeroMobile.exe and not guitarlauncher.mscr correct?

Maybe i am making it harder in the mind then it really is..... lol

1.install the exe
2. make the registry changes noted
3. yes dash will get points still since on that name still ofr jsut that game. but doesnt matter all it does it for high scores online on there site no biggie. if you dont like it than dont play the game......

yo dash and the rest of my fellow junkies as from i can see in dash post you need to change ur owner info to have this work on your phone which will mess up the rest of your programs on your phone that needed a keygen serial.



so here is what you do. .


go to this link and install this program. . .set the default to whatever name u usually have for the owner info. . .and go to one the other "profiles" set the name to the one dash has listed for you to set it 2.


and set it. than save it. than perform an soft reset and there your owner info name should be set to the thing for the name dash asked you to set it 2.


now i believe to get the other programs to keep on working your going to have to go back to the program and set it back to your default name. your probably going to have to switch back and forth in the programs to get it to work with the game or to use the game.

thats because the phone only holds a couple of songs at a time. than u have to download it again.

I got the 3 file from the zip file. I edited the owner name wiht my name in the motr file. Then, i loaded the 3 file to my PPC.(BTW it works on the touch). I ran the Mort Script first, then i tried to run the guitar launcher .exe and its not working...

Am I not getting something?

Is GH instlled in the main memory or the card? As long as you have all three files unziped and in the same folder you should only have to open GuitarLauncher.exe but the launch path is set to the main memory.
If you installed on a card you will have to change:

Runwait( "\Program Files\GuitarHeroMobile\GuitarHeroMobile.exe" ) to
Runwait( "\Storage Card\Program Files\GuitarHeroMobile\GuitarHeroMobile.exe" ) or what ever the path may be on your phone

Total noob here. have the game loaded just fine. change my owners info and entered serial. only issue is that everytime i start career mode it says no connection. is this carrier specific...sprint,veriozon???? please let me know what i am doing wrong. any help would be greatly appreciated.

go to settings>owner information and change name to Crackedbydash...go back enter code(case sensitive) and youll be fine

just wondering if this application is carrier specific,...ie sprint, verizon. all the songs say no network available. can someone please help and let me know what i am doing wrong. thanks for any help.

If you dont know how to change your owner name or w/e download
this it will auto. change your owner name when the game
is in use and when its not the owner name goes back!!!!!

try to soft reset and install again.....

prolly since you are gsm it doesnt work... might only be a cdma program

the phone was on sprint network till it was flashed over to cricket. i was under the impression that cricket was a cdma network because you can flash sprint or verizon phones over to the cricket network. if i am wrong then i guess im s.o.l.

oh my bad i read wrong you are cdma.... no clue why wont work for you. you sure that you are selecting 6800 as your device. and google maps doesnt mean you have a data package it means your gps works. you need the internet access to be able to get this to work.

situation solved. removed and reinstalled and chose the sprint network. everything is ok.

FYI...... I have tried for a couple hours now if not more to get this to work on my Treo 700wx and have been unsuccessful. I have tried loading it on the main storage and my card. I have followed directions to a T, and yes the Treo 700wx is listed in the Setup file.

If anyone has gotten this to work on a WM Treo, please let me know.

it should work without a problem try a different service provider that has the treo and see if that does the trick.

Yea, i'm reseting the phone again as i type this.

I have tried during setup going to:
sprint -> treo 700wx
palm -> treo 700wx
palm -> treo 700w
verizon -> treo 700wx

on all of them when i go to load the game for the first time after cab install it goes to the black screen and it says loading across the middle of the screen but then it like times out and goes back to my today screen. kind of acts like there isn't enough RAM to boot the game up.

if you hear of a fix or dig anything up please let me know. the developer doesn't have a help forum.

ok well here is a new one.

every time before I go to load the game I have changed the owner info to "Crackedbydash" and then navigate to start -> programs -> games -> guitar hero III mobile

thats when it would go black and state "loading" but then close.


now if I go back to owner info and change to "my name" and then navigate to start -> programs -> games -> guitar hero III mobile

it will give me the screen to enter in the auth code but says authentication error. of course when i try to type in the code it says invalid.


so it obviously has something to do with the owner info. i have even tried switching to "Crackedbydash" before installing from the exe file and i get them same results.

any ideas? am i doing something out of sequence?
