As an Alltel customer will I have a problem using this rom? Is there something I can mess with to make it work if there is a problem?

you should be fine you are just going to need dcd's alltel carrier cab to get your internet and stuff working. If not you can just reflash back to stock

I was using a rom last week that was for sprint but my internet still worked, as well as everything else but then I got paranoid that I was going to get charged out the butt for using it so I switched back to another rom that was for alltel in particular. Now I'm debating between this one and conflippers.

For the Neewbs.. Is there a Youtube video showing how to Flash a Verizon Touch Pro. Or is there a cab file that will just down load? Because I want to try but seriously dont want to BRICK my Touch.

Sorry bro,,, there's no way to flash a rom with a cab...lol... and ther arent any youtube i know of as of yet...you can alway go to youtube a search tho, maybe someone else has made one... (although making one might be a good idea)

Hey BJ I wanted to let you know this ROM is sick and I marked as installed and thanked as much as I could but I have two concerns:

One was already mentioned and that's the re-launching of TFL3D but I didn't see a fix for this yet or I don't know if there will be one or not.

The second would be opening the keyboard: when I go to respond to a text I normally click on the message in portrait mode and when the texting field comes up I slide it open to type. But the ROM or theme file (not sure which) brings me right to the home-landscape mode (see attachment.) Is there any way to fix this? Thanks in advance.

There is no fix for that that I know of yet...however, all that is happening is the screen you were looking at first (in this case, your text screen) is being sent to the background. So all you have to do is pull it back to the front by clicking up in the top right corner of the screen and selecting it from the drop down menu. Then, just continue as you normally would. A little annoying, but easy to do.

Right I understand it is being put to the background - but there isn't a way to keep it from being sent to the BG?

Nah bro as of now no... when this ROM was released it was based of a kitchen that just did it. All the ROMS at the time did it. Now there are others dont have this issue. It is kinda annoying. In my case, it would have given you back the (text messaging window), you just have to a wait a little longer for the screens to switch.... you dont have to click it from the drop down. you just have to wait and it will switch back on its own.

ahh I didnt even notice that i could just wait for the screen to go away. thanks for the tip and i can deal with it in that case.

follow step by step on how to flash.maybe read through it a few times just to make sure you understand everything and if you have any questions just ask on the correct thread :)

this rom is sick as hell man.. im new to this and in the past 10 hours ive gone trough some shitty roms but this is my fav. nice simple design thats quick and responsive but is this the latest version???

Hey Big Jew, I recently flashed my touch pro with your kickin' ROM but was wondering if there is any way to make it so that the Music ID app isnt just a trial? even if there isnt, i am still diggin the ROM, great job!!

You should not have a music ID trial... if so.... . Install that version and you should be ok!! Be sure to soft reset after install.... Press the thanks button and MARK AS INSTALLED if you havent already!

we have that app here, full and registered. I wasnt aware that his version incl was a trial, but just download it from our WM Applications forum.

alright JE\/\/Y :lol: i think im ready for your ROM now...lol now that im more experienced in the flashing business i feel im ready to move on to bigger and better things ;) ive been running Jugg's for about 3 weeks now and i have to admit it was a very clean ROM...but ive just been dying to give yours a whirl (your ROM i mean) lol..well i'll report back with my findings..not like you need another person to confirm that ur a genius but just to add my two cents :)

Well thank you for those kind words.. Not saying my ROM isnt this shit, but when it is based off an old kitchen and still has an issue with touchflo3d when scrolling through ALL PROGRAMS. Be sure to read the 2 fixes in the original post! other then that, ENJOY! ....OH and I just cant wait to see what you can whirl, but let get :focus: :lol: J/k you are my girl!

ok JEWY im back...ok today is my 4th day running ur ROM...and well to tell u the truth i cant find any of the problems that u mentioned...i mean i know ur ROM is the shiznit lol but what i did was i installed a whole bunch of Taylor's tweaks on it..and its nice and smooth :)..ive only had to soft reset once..and thats because i recieved a call while playing a game so it got a little glitchy...but thats about it...performance,speed and looks wise..its all there IMO...im gonna keep it for a little longer before i try a few others :) besides it took me a little to set it just the way i like it ;) all and all though like i said..great job :) :thumb:

Jew, im loving the Rom brother. Just have a quick question. Just installed it and when i go to program tab menu im missing the 1st 3rd and the 5th program. No clue what they are? Thanks for the help bro.

Dont worry about that, just crappy stuff that was in the kitchen that he took out. You can remove all the stuff from there and fill it up with the apps you like best.

Yes it will work like a charm but i would go for Mighty Rom if i was you 4.16 is really stable.

what kind of network issues?? mine is flawless maybe the new tf3d2 stuff but not 4.16 also the new Juicy is really good. I would say a Juggalo is in my top three too.

(JUmping around!!) Awesome, My first FLASH!! I just trashed 2 Touch Pros in 14 days. 1 in the HotTub 1 in the Toilet. I figured b4 i sent this 2nd one back (just got my 3rd one in the mail) I would try flashing it so if i messed it up no big deal.

It popped up a few times saying "Loading Touch Flo" and goes back to the today screen. But i remember reading that in here months ago. It does seem like screens move a little quicker, and damn. Only 15MB in use.

Whats the Adobe Flash Lite for though?? Can you use it to play FLASH games on the internet?? IF not is there some way to save the swf file off the net and load it with Adobe Flash Lite?

Ok so its been a day since i have been using this ROM. But the constant "Loading Touch Flo" popping up and bring me back to the home page is driving me crazy. Is there anyway to patch this that I didnt see? I didnt exactly reread every single page all over again so I may have missed it by skimming through.

PS: Where the heck is the link to find all posts I've posted? I cant find it since Wckediden was changed around.

nah nothing has been updates since the release date... I am working on something new... this ROM is very very very old... One of a few Touch PRO ROMs that were fairly new when the TP came out
