Hello junkies,

Figured I'de give you a section to discuss this if you want, but here is the news post again, feel free to make comments or ask questions.

I am posting this to announce a new feature that will soon be implemented to Wckediden downloads. You will be now be able to download and install programs/themes and many other things that are commonly found as cab files straight from your device just by pointing your camera at your computer screen! Thats right! We have found a few new technologies that allow us to create bar codes for each download that look something like this:

If you have the installed application, called "I-Nigma", you will be able to just hover over the bar code with your camera on your phone and it will bring you straight to the download. If you stay logged into Wckediden on your phone this works even better and will even automatically start the download for you without you even having to enter your user name and password!

You can even download and install i-nigma on your phone!

Once you have the program test it on the barcode I posted earlier in this post. It should redirect your mobile devices browser to Wckediden.com if it worked.

If you would like to make a new barcode for your download feel free to use this site to create the barcode for it:

When it spits out your URL for your new image, change <img src=" to [IMG] and " alt= "qrcode" /> to [/IMG] to post it on this site :)

We, here at Wckediden, aim for efficiency and convenience and with this new bar code system it seemed like the obvious next step. No more worrying about whether or not the computer you have has activesync installed on it. Get your favorite programs instantly without the hassle of downloading them on your PC and then finding a computer with activesync to transfer the program to your device!!!

thanks man, this should be a really cool feature that will help a lot of people that dont have computers at home but want to go on the site on a computer elsewhere. :)

haha exactly. you can look for stuff on the computer and then just download it straight on your phone. I thought this would catch on quite fast ;)

Is this going to be implemented into everypost that contains a download or is it at the the discretion of who ever uploads the app and post the thread?

Well we are, of course, hoping that the uploaders will make these for their downloads because it will probably increase downloads/popularity of the download for him/her; however there is no absolute way of forcing it. I intend on going through the posts throughout the day and creating barcodes for those anarchist uploaders that love to go against the grain and not make barcodes :)

actually there's a link to the site to make them..but there is no option for a file on your computer so i was wondering if i should just make it a link to the rapidshare upload...or what?

ok i must be stupid lol or something cuz this aint working. . .i installed it. . .i open up the program than it says press here and it opens up my camera i did that and capture the picture and nothing. . .hahaha wat am i doing wrong. . .i feel sad since it seems im the only one who has had the problem with it

you dont capture just get the barcode in the pic and you golden.... dont take the pic.

LOL... remember i said there was always the laugh of the day at Wckediden! well, there it is! LOL... Just load the app and when it loads your camera for you, hover over the pc's screen where the barcode is and you are good!

ya i kinda figure that out but couldnt figure out why it kept like opening the camera. . .but im dumb i didnt soft reset i know your suppose to after every download but i started to learn that you didnt have to no more it was just like an suggestion well apparently im wrong that you have to with this one. . .lol now i just gotta figure out how to make sure my phone stays logged into Wckediden and why the hell everything in the camera is upside down lol. but my bad guys thanks for the find. its awesome now i can do this from work and like that. dont need to download to computer =]]

ya i know bro thats why im saying i love this cuz now i can download at work and dont have to worry about getting in trouble or something really. just hope eventually all the stuff will be updated with a barcode thing at one point =]

just sucks it takes a lil bit of hovering and getting it just right for it 2 work

the trick is since everything is inverted on the screen, dont look at the screen to line it up, look at the phone itself and line it up with the screen of your computer. :)

post gives link to a download for the program right??? when i open the link just says phone not recognized contact inigma @ etc im def just being a noob :P unless we dl it from different place?
