I know dash said he was going to do it.But i also understand that he is very busy at work>And I'm anxious to get this done.

So i thought to setup a contest with the the best banner for the light version of the skin i have a temporary one.The size is 300x122 but it has to match the background color which is #3a527d or if you can make it transparent that would be good.Use your imagination and what we would do is set up a poll and the ones that wins will receive a 1 year vip pass to our other section.

this is something iv been wanting to do for a while now, not that there was anything wrong with the last banner, but hey... so my questions r, 1. can it b a GIF, or does it have to b a jpeg? also how about a FLASH banner ?? just courious, how long do u plan on holding this comp?

well once we get members to post up the banners and show there skillz then I'll start the poll.Th ebanner can be either png or gif and since venumx started the animation i guess we go through the animations unless someone else differ.

Wow thanks for the vote of confidence... It really depends what they are looking for but I for sure am gonna have a run at it. After all I build websites got a bit of practice... But its a pretty tight size constriction so gonna be a bit limited. And there is some other very talented people here I would not count out.

the only thing that is gonna keep that from being used is the word shit. we do have younger people on here and the language on the board is ok but when its on the banner that could get risky and also for the people that log on at work they dont want the top of the page having shit written on it.
