Ok this is a new project that I have been working on for a little bit now. It is my Black Vista project.

It is based on the 3.02 ROM.(build 19588 )

It has an almost complete Windows Vista look. The appearance is black instead of the usual blue that everyone is used to.

lmao i flashed to my buddies touch here at work and i must admit im pretty impressed.... not going to go with that whole dark vista loo again..... you have to love the vista look to go with the rom since everything on here is straight up vista...... but it would be nice to have all the vista skinning done for you and for you to go with the vista wisbar skin in the wisbar section of the forums that i got posted up there........ got myself thinking now.......

:lol: thats the best part of Wckediden!! We have to thank g-d every morning for giving us the stregnth to run this site and choose what we want on our phones!! I had myself thinking how this would run! Now I am probably gonna flash tomorrow just to see what it do!!! :lol: I'm not worried my ROM is killing some VETS in the game!

I tried to flash this on an alltel mogul, with no luck, says wrong equipment, is this only for the touch?

yes this is for the vogue 6900 touch whichever name you use. Your lucky thats all it did as flashing the wrong rom could have bricked your phone. Next time i would suggest a little bit more reading prior to flashing.

apologize for dbl post it said there was a 5 minute time limit to edit.

after rereading post i didnt see where it said only for touch. but at the link for the sprint version it states a 24MB Page Pool.

The mogul is normally a 4 MB although KAOS created a killer one with a 6MB.

Great rom.. but ever since i flashed rom i've been having battery issues.. doesn't seem to last more than half a day..

i have no troubles.... make sure you have the beam and the bluetooth off if your not using them.

This thing is perdy...
2 things- cube is hosed- won't pull up..working on that
it doesn't want to sync contacts with outlook.

I'll post an update when I get it figured out if anyone else has these problems

• I forgot to note that I loaded the lite version. Contacts was easy- I had to check the "advanced network configuration" box in active sync and contacts pulled.
• I love the Supware iContact absolutely rules- Donate to that guy if you get it!
• PIM backup kills too!- I was hard-headed and preferred to use active sync, but after trying it out for "mod on the road" type stuff there is nothing better.
  
• Other weird stuff, clock wouldn't update time- it just hung there on same time aftre a soft reset... I tried to load HHCV10 and still no resolve.
• still no cube. I gave up and am loading the full ROM.

yes it says in the post thats it will work and also look at the radio numbers 3.35 is the mogul radio....... jsut flash the alltel version and your ready to go...... be sure to unlock the phone and follow the steps i have listed in my tutorial in my signature.

I used Hard-SPL-MFG went thru the steps and all seemed to go fine till I tried to flash the rom.

2.40.Olipro I don't think it's unlocking, It goes thru the steps and says it's finish but don't think it worked, It's just takes to long to flash a rom back on it to try again. I'm putting RUU_TITAN_ALLTEL_WWE_3.35.671.9_RS_TITAN_03.37.20_ Alltel_2.01_AM_PPST_Ship back on after it gets stuck in bootloader. I'm new to this so I have no clue what the problem is.

you have it unlocked but are you using vista to flash???? if so go to an xp computer and you will be able to flash without troubles.

Yes I was using Vista, I tried it on a XP computer with same results, Only thing different is I can now use titan-exitbl to get it out of boot mode. It goes to 1% then says invalid device.

This is what I have done to the phone, I went from stock rom to Titan-alltel-wwe 3.35.761.9-rs then I Upgraded the radio to 3.42.30 and flashed Take3 hybread alltel edition, didn't care for it so I flashed it back to 3.35.761.9, Then I found yours and ran Hard-spl-mfg then ran huu to install yours and gets to 1% and say invalid device.

I tried to install Take3 hybread again and it will install but I can't install the radio now. It stops at 8% and says Invalid command.

right you need to flash to kaos's rom again and than once installed flash the radio to your phone via the storage card method than flash this rom and you will be fine... you have the incorrect radio since you flashed back to 3.35 you have that radio on there and not the 3.42 radio.

loaded full version, oh my God..its so beautiful. Runs fast, lots of great apps, with very minimal maintenance. much much better than stock. Cube is super fast. I warmed up to the rtsp streaming on the thing (just like on my Sanyo M1) and I it better than vtap... a little grainier than tcpmp and flash bundle but faster and works with our crappy 1xRTT (still no EV-Do here).
that has nothing to do with the ROM other than the choice of using it.

This ROM is a keeper, i can't see any reason for not using it, I have friends wanting to try it out too. Mucho applause to Dharvey from PPC geeks for this install. 4 stars!

hey i was wondring if i could use the 2.9.5 versoin of this rom cuz i have altell and installed the rom on my phone and it's a great rom i love it but it has a few bugs and it's driveing my nuts the time on it just jumps 3 hrs ahead randomly and if i dont use the phone for some time and go to use it it asks for a pass word and i dont have one set :( and some time idk why but the contacts wont load up it says something along the lines of this is not a sogned program you may need to install or somethign like that. and i dont know how to get the gps today to work :( ive only used it a couple of times and it was awsome. could you maybe link me to something that tells me how to work it cuz im not getting the mph or direction thing anymore.

But other than that i really love this rom and id love to keep useing it very nicely set up

yes there is an alltel link for you to donwload the alltel version........ just like the title says all providers. and yes you will be able to use your internet and all without any troubles.

Mad Props to Dash for this ROM....Fast ...Quick...Stable... I use PIM Backup for transfers of info. Just remember to soft reset after restore....Keep up the awsome work!

a mogul couldnt handle all the apps efficiently and dharvey hasnt made one for it..... look at kaos **** sprint take 3 hybrid rom..... its the best one out there for the mogul.

I ran this ROM it is very professional and smoothe. I have a few issue with the GPS and Telenav not working well and very sluggish. I also have system freeze and as a result have to do soft resets when attempting to change the HTC Today setting. But other than that ,its awesome and very fast. I love your work and keep it up. I think this will be my ROM first choice. Thanks :brows:

I loaded the 2.96 update and it didn't seem to fix anything over 2.95- in fact its weird, I am missing some stuff now- like total commander and rtsp streaming- I think Im gonna revert back to 2.95.
anyone else have this problem?
