as said before already in other resco threads not sure if this is the newest do a quick search to see take the first string of digits and use just those ansd you should be fine,

I really want this program. Every time I attempt to install it says installation unsuccessful. So I tried s2u v.99. That was unsuccessful too. The only thing that I've done to the phone was attempt to change the startup screen before I realized I need resco. I have fixed that problem though. Any idea what may be my issue?

are you installing to your mogul or to your Q? it wont work on the Q but the mogul should have no problem. if you keep getting this error and soft resets dont work i would try to do a hard reset and try again. but back up your contacts before doing so because you will lose them. let us know how it turns out for you.

I havent tried to add anything to the Q because I know a lot wont work on it. My Mogul is for experimenting. I'll keep trying it. Thanks for your input.

it does work i use it myself!!!! just use the first section i think five of the keygen and remember it is case sensative to what you have under owners information on your phone. this was discussed earlier in this thread also.

i nvr installed this and i tried searchin and couldnt find it what is the owners info supposed to be and i understood the the first the part of the keygen that i believe im only supposed to put the fisrt 5

type a name then hit gen. the use the first five incriments. make sure the name is the same (case sensitive). then it should tell you your reg. if not try the next 5 incriments ans so on. one of the shoudl work

yessir but i think he was meaning he doesnt remember or know his owner name. all you have to do is go to start/settings/personal/owners information/ and than have your name typed in there and than type that in the exact same way into the keygen including capital lettetrs and spaces.

For those with confusion of using the keygen provided with this software:

The highlited section is what has been most commonly refered to as "The first 5" in various threads. This is what you need to enter to activate.

this is driving me crazy. I have been trying to install resco explorer all day. here is what i am doing, please tell me what i am doing wrong. i saved the resco exlplorer .exe file to my storage card and the keygen also. i then try to open the files on my phone to install and it tells me that it's not a valid pocket pc application.

The keygen and the .exe need to be run from your computer not your phone.

that sucks, see if you can find a friend with a PC that will allow you to install active sync on their machine and allow you to install this stuff on your phone.

FYI, though it does say on the first post "Requirements: Smartphone 2k2,2k3,wm5,wm6" when you actually run the program the Wizard for the program actually says in the top right "Designed for Pocket PCs"

And also to reiterate what I said in the Media Suite thread, this does work if installed to the storage card and can be fully activated if installed on the storage card.

is anyone else having trouble with the keygen for resco. i installe the app but when i use the numbers that is given by the keygen it says its not the correct code or something like that and i am using the correct user name for the keygen. any suggestions anyone?

read throught the thread and look 2 or 3 posts above and it tells you how to do this. please looks in the future. try to use just the first 5 of the keygen.

thanks bro. i got it. i was hoping this registry editior would let me do that hack i posted to get wifi and phone to work at same time but nope. guess program doesnt matter. i tried this program and sktools and ya still cant get that hack to work for me.

Thanks for this man, awesome....The weird thing is, I haven't seen anything thats asking for a key?? Does it ask when a trial runs out, or should I have had to put it in at the start?

your fine you can add when it runs out or like i do right awat. just open it up and than use the bottom right button on the screen. than go to options and registration.

Everything worked properly....It didn't work at first, then I had to re-read what you guys were talking about haha...I was trying to put in all the numbers the keygen was giving me!!! Yeah, that doesn't work...

I'm having difficulty registering this product. I've read the previous posts carefully, so don't flame me! Under owner information I've typed in the username St@rlX[TSRh] as it appears in the keygen and it doesn't work. I've also tried to shorten it to St@rlX and failed with this method as well. I have a Sprint Touch and it should therefore register, but I'm not sure where to go from here. I've also done the soft and hard resets.

Can anyone help! I like this application.

bro all you do is keep your original name that you had and than type that in case sensative and then click generate and it will spit your code out for you.
