there is a new Chinese program over XDA dev that works out great, takes 203kb memory and runs as task manager as well, whoever tried wa2 before, is almost the same start menu as wa2 http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=340358

how do u get the quick menu to install with out errors and how do change the orange logo at top thanks

as stated many times use the link not the attachment since we lost parts during a system upgrade, also to get the orange Q off all you have to do is go to the settigns and uncheck the quickmenu start icon

I downloaded this off the link and tried to install it.. It error out in the install and is now on my phone and i can get it off... If i try to get into the option of the program it errors that it failed to open a dll.. also on start up i get the same error about the dll.. Is there a place i can copy and paste the dll so that it works, or is there a way to get it off my phone?

you have to make folder in the startup menu. take all of the dll and other stuff that came with quickmenu and put all in one folder on your phone. locate folder and run quickmenu and the error will go away

yeah there is a backup battery persay the size of a watch battery in your phone that helps in case you run it dry so it can use that power to backup and save the info on the phone.

i didnt know that. i knew the 6700 did, but i took my phone in for repair a while ago and asked them about a backup battery in this and they said that it wasn't. i'm sure you're right d/\sh b/c most of the people at the sprint store near me have no idea what they are talking bout

lol i found it when i changed the husing from sprint to an unbranded alltel black housing and just plopped the guts in there.

is there a simpler way to install on my mogul, cuz I have it working but its doing this from the memory card and not the phone itself seeing as I switch between memory cards alot this setup will not work for me. and I did try making a folder on my phone and running the file but it still didn't work. just a lil help

just istall the cab to the main memory what is easier than that.
