IPHONE Face for HTC TOUCH
 

It says to extract the cab file but I don't see that anywhere??? What exactly am I looking for, everything else has been a piece of cake except that. Also the Swcked Back up, what exactly is that???

use the file that says straight cab file and than go and download it and than jjust drag to your storage card and install to the main memory when it asks.

when i do that nothing comes up that I downloaded anything...Any Ideas??? I used the other downloads and it gives me a bunch of icons....any idea what im doing wrong??

i dont understand what you mean that nothing comes up... theres also two rapidshare links in the post check them out and try those.... and are you using the one from my link called grumps or you using the one that says in the description wisbar advance and wisbar advance desktop are needed...... please give me a link or more info so i can help you out

i am using the one that says grumps and it says downloaded but in my files screen nothing is there. So it says it downloaded but nothing comes up like the other files. I also used both of the rapid shares files and they shoot out a bunch of icons in my files for the HTC Touch Mods.

use the grumps bro thats a cab file and use the tutorial link i gave you 2 posts down cause since you dont link me to what your talkin bout or give me a screenshot i cant help you since i have no clue what your talking bout... your being wayyyy to vague

I don't know how to do a screen shot and there isn't a url i can give you cause it's on my document downloaded...YOu know when you download and then it goes to your files with what you just downloaded. Well for this individual one there is nothing there. I don't know if that helps an or not. If not sorry I just don't know how else to explain it. Ill try it some more and figure out if I can make it easier for you to assist me. Thanks

Alright I think I understand. Ok so when all those files are downloaded...do I copy all of the icons and extract or do I just extract the setup one. When I sent them to my desktop I still had all the icons so do I copy all of those icons into the sync or just the setup??? Please tell me that made any sense...???

bro if your downloading the grumps one all you do is download and drag the file WITHOUT extracting to the phones storage card and than double click and it will install nothing else... its called a cab file...... thats for the grumps use that

i will try that one again. The problem with that one is nothing happens after I download it. I mean the downloaded files box is empty so I don't know what the heck happend that is why I was using the other downloads. Sorry for all the questions...I know your sitting there going this is so easy but I can't figure it out lol.

thats the part that makes no since what do you mean you get nothing when you download and all??? makes no since to me??? download and than hook up to activesync the way it is dont mess with the file drag to storage card and double click

then u shouldn't be ****ing with it if you have no clue what to do.that are tutorial on how to do it..take your time and READ it, so it can be done properly...other wise one bad move your phone well be useless and is good only for a bookend

No wonder it doesn't make sense.....I know what I am doing wrong... I am opening it instead of sending it straight to the phone, I am sending it to my computer and nothing shows up but it's supposed to go to the phone. At least I hope that is the problem...When I download it, it ask open with, and like all the other files I use whatever it says and it downloads but instead of something appearing nothing appears. NO icon or anything. So I think I just send it to the sync then. Right???

hey whats up bro its me again that espn works great I did it. Thanks to you. Now I am doing the iphone interface and I am having trouble lol. I did everything you said in your tutorial and it says on the phone the download was unsuccessful. I downloaded the grumps file to the desktop. I then dragged it to the storage card on the phone. On my phone i went to file explorer went to storage card grumps file was there. I am clicked it, then double clicked it. The it gave me the error message download was unsuccessful. Please help thanks

ok its the zip problem download from rapidshare and if that is what you did and all download the attachment that says cab only and try again.... you need its a vista and XP conflict

aight cool cool glad to hear it and the touch is a great phone takes a lil to get used to and all but you will be fine in the long run and get the hang of stuff!!!!

yeah i still couldn't do it but i had to stop trying cause i was too busy changing everything else. I figured out how to do it though just downloading it to the wrong places. It never got to the phone though so it wasn't possible to ruin the phone but thanks for your concern COderz. Anyway D/\SH you have been a great help. The only thing I have left is the shut down which I get to the phone but it says something about it needs to install the application, I thought that's what I did. There are two url's the first being the app and the second being the skins and I downloaded the app and moved it to the phone and it gave me an error. Any ideas??? Also the Swcked (I think) is that a back up? It's the one that says (live by this).?

Now the only icon that doesn't work is the Launch Music Player. It says The file audiomanager cannot be opened. Either it is not signed with a trusted certificate, or one of its components cannot be found. If the problem persists, try reinstalling or restoring this file. Any suggestions on how to fix this properly???

I don't even know where to find it though, that's why im asking. I should have specified. I click the icon, that error comes up and I search for it in the file exlporer but don't know where it would be unless it isn't there. Would you by chance know where it would or should be?

im guessing it has something to do with the setup of your WMP in the config file, but I haven't installed this so i have no idea what you are dealing with or anything but i read through dashs tutorial and picturing it in my head I would assume it is something in the config file, make sure it is \Windows\wmplayer.exe if im wrong dash will correct me.

for the shut down bro you have to tell me what errors IN AN NEW THREAD THIS IS FOR THE IPHONE INTERFACE (than i could help you on that since your being to vague) to get rid of that not signed error download and install the below attached registry hack precompiled into a cab file. and for the shortcut you create that under the iphoneconfig!!!

ALSO IF YOU POST MULTIPLE QUESTIONS LIKE THIS IS ANOTHER THREAD AND CRAP IT WITH OFF TOPIC STUFF YOU WILL BE SUSPENEDED FOR A SET AMOUNT OF TIMES. READ THE RULES!!!! THANKS.. SO IN OTHER WORDS NEW TOPICS GET A NEW THREAD MADE
