arcsoft error synchronizing
 

hey everyone, i hope im not getting tooooooooo annoying. i have looked for an answer to this on tons of forums but i cant seem to solve the issue... i downloaded the arcsoftMMS app from PPCgeeks. and i install, it creates a folder names MMS1. when i go to send a pic, it will move directly to my outbox. i go there and hit send/recieve and in the bottom left corner it says error synchronzing... can any1 help pleaaaaaaasse

thats odd i use the same app also but without these problems. have you tried to uninstall/than do a soft reset/ than try to reinstall and see if it still does this?

yea, ive tried all that. i uninstall, i've even gotten to the point to delete the arcsoft from my registry. i uninstall, soft reset, reinstall. or uninstall hard reset re install... do u think it has anything to do with other apps on my phone?

sometimes some apps do conflict with others but the only way to find this out isnt a fun one. you would do a hard reset. than install arcsoft first than make sure it works correctly. than once you do that install the next app soft reset and than see if it works and keep doing that until you find an app that it doesnt work with and than you will know what app or apps is causing the conflict. hope this helps and it does suck trust me i know from having to do this multiple times in the past but it is the only way to find out if there is an app conflict unless reported by someone on the net.

so basically i have to uninstall everything and start from scratch?

if you want to use the app since i know it works yes. a hard reset would be required than you would have to go through the steps above.

well, i just cleared my storage. starting from factory default. ill post my findings and i hope i can get this to work...

ok thanks that would be great if you could post your findings for us so we can learn more about the conflicting apps and see if we can figure out a fix for it.

okay so this is the first app i installed and it says:Sending media messege. then i get an error saying: message delivery faild. or message reciept failed. any clues?

nope i dont know why you would be having these problems i have never heard of this problem before you brought it up. ill look into it and see if anyone else has had this problem but no promises if i will find anything.

okay strange. after multiple times of installing/uninstalling. resets and trying to send picture mails. it seems to have worked.

the only things i did were went to regedit:

changed Internet to Sprint, soft reset
Changed Sprint to My ISP, soft reset
Changed My ISP to Internet...

anyway, i guess its working, sent my bro a pic mail. he's pissed it woke him up, im happy it went thru haha

glad you got it and your bro can live wih getting woke up if it means you having MMS. Glad you got it bro. and when i downloaded it myself those settigns were like that already so i didnt even think about that
