TCPMP 072rc1 pre-modded for wm6 CAB
 

I rebuilt the TCPMP cab to install every known plugin (including the recently updated flash video one for youtube) as well as built in the WMV9 plugins and appropriate codec files (into the /WINDOWS/) folder.

Its pretty beefy at 5 megs but there it is.

Dont forget to change the directdraw setting to buffer, but works perfectly with video and streaming ORB video.

is that the option under video that says "raw frame buffer" that it should be switched to?

i have no clue but it might work for you i would give it a shot and see bro i really dotn ahve any clue since i dont watch videos on my phone besides on youtube.

Is there a specific way to install this. I installed to my 6800 in storage card and it keeps giving me an error and to send crash.txt to someone. I have WM6.1

you hav eot install it to hte main memory of the device. also this may not work if you are running the stock WM 6.1 sprint rom.

the movie im trying to play is all choppy. any ideas? its an .avi

Crap! I got the crash.txt error also. I did install on my device not the card but i am Running the original sprint rom. Movies I DL off this program called Graboid dont run on my old COre Player (missing ACC codecs).
So a friend said to try this tcpmp. But guess that isnt going to happen. Any ideas on a player i can use to play movies I've Downloaded?

Id suggest goin with a custom rom if you want it to work.

I have the rom jitters.. I saw the warnings. The last thing i want to do is trash a new $450 phone. The most i've done was use facade, phone alarm, and stk tools to mod my old MotoQ. But my new HTC Touch im a little hesitant to install a rom. If you screw that up I heard you can trash your phone.

Doesnt a rom erase alot of stuff off your phone too? Like i was told apps that came with it would be erased. ClearVue Presentation, ect.. Im not sure what these apps do and prob dont need them anyway.

I was hoping to simply install something like an updated core player that had all the codecs (or another player if one was out there) and be done with it. Instead of spending hours reading up on what roms are before i take that step.

I remember taking 6 hours to read everything i could on unlocking my gps before i actually went through with it.
Well if theres no other players out there. I guess i'll have to wait till i have time on my hands to do more reading on roms.
ANy advice to someone new to "roms" so I dont trash my phone?

I had this working on my old mogul. I replaced it this week and now the tcpmp won't work. I tried the one on my memory card I even searched and found .81. that didn't work either. can someone please post a working tcpmp?

Here is a version that works fine with my stock sprint rom for my mogul. Hope this helps some people looking for a version that works fine w/o having to flash your rom.

None of the movies/tv shows i download to my pc off of a app called graboid will play on my cell phone. This Tcpmp wont work since i have the stock rom. I see other people have that problem. If you dont want to change your rom Download CorePlayer_v1.3.0_Build-6213.. It plays all my movies. I assume Wckediden has it on this site. If they dont and anyone needs it, send me a message and let me know and i will read the section on how to post. Its already cracked so it doesnt need a serial.

If download full length movies from a torrent site can I just cut and paste the movie file to my memory card and watch the file through the player?? Im trying to get some movies on my touch pro and use the TV out cable to watch movies on my tv. Any advice or tips to help me do that?? Thanks homies

For your phone to play the movies smoothly, you first need to convert them to a mobile friendly frame size (320x240 or 640x480) otherwise they will be all choppy.

Cool, but if i convert the size to something mobile friendly will it come out smooth when i do the tv out function??

Yes. The tv out displays what the phone is processing. Its the same as any other program that are on your phone, they are already in the correct size for your phone and show up perfect on the TV

i just performed the speed up internet that dash posted but my flashbundle and youtube videos still load very slow. N E ideas?
