Overview: Atomic Cannon is a fun arcade game that is easy to learn but difficult to master. In this strategic tank artillery duel you battle against computers or friends on 25 different landscapes. Players take turns aiming and firing at each other with over 100 weapons of mass destruction including nuclear bombs. You can blast your enemy with a vast array of weapons. Some weapons create landmasses you can use to your tactical advantage to hide behind as cover. Your arsenal is outfitted with numerous types of weapons including guns, bombs, missiles, rockets, and nukes.

The landscape you battle on is randomly generated each round and can be destroyed in real time for real scorched earth. There are six types of land formations including flat, hill, gulley, plateau, slope, and random. Each formation can be in one of the game's 25 diverse environments.

HowTo:
1. Open Game
2. Click "Register offline..."
3. Enter ID number into keygen
4. Enter Registration code into game
5. Ckick"Register'
6. Click OK
7. Click Cancel
8. Click Cancel

Hey dash, I installed this on my touch just like the instructions say. It tells me that it registered fine, but when I try to launch it, it gives me the following error:

Failed to acquire resource splash.
Error code: 0x80004005

Any ideas what could be causing this and how I can correct it? I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times with the same result. I googled the error and got nothing but windows XP PC issues.

there are two work around for this error.

1. redownload the program this is an activesync transfer error so redownload the whole file and see if that fixes it.
2. something in your registry was changed and not allowing it to write certain registry values to your phone so the only fix would be a hard reset.

and make sure that you do a soft reset after installing an app to yyour phone

OK,thanks guys. I will try the first work around tomorrow and see if that fixes it. I'm leaning toward the activesync issue being the problem because this is my second touch and it did the same thing on the first one. I used the same .cab from my storage card that I used on the first phone. I got the second phone to see if it would fix my clock jumping problem, but it didn't. I think it's my towers. Sorry, didn't mean to get off topic. I will post and let you know if the reinstall fixes my prob.

Well the reinstall didn't work. I'm not going to do a hard reset just for this game. I would have too much stuff to set up again. I have pocket tanks on my PC and thought this was probably just like it so that is why I wanted it for my phone. I looked around to see if they make a pocket tanks for windows mobile and it doesn't look like they do. Thanks anyway guys and keep up the good work.

ok that would be the only way to fix the program and they do make it for windows mobile right here is the thread........ DUH!!!!!!!!11

OK you got me on that one. What I was trying to say was I was looking for the specific game called Pocket Tanks Deluxe for windows mobile. Atomic Cannon is very similar and actually has better graphics but thought if I could find Pocket Tanks Deluxe for my touch, maybe it would work better.

dont play the game if you go to registration make sure that it doesnt say registerd since it may be retail...... or not even have the spot for registering....

keygen will be in the zip if one

or look through readme text and serial will be in there.

I have this same error. I tryed installing it regularly, then threw the cab. Tryed soft resetting, hard resetting, and nothing worked. This is the only game that hasn't worked for me.

ell the reason that it is prolly doing that is that you have the touch which of course has a lack of buttons and all. so that means that the game is prolly reading the lasck of buttons and knows that it cant be played on the phone....... it reads the registry when it trys to add the registry for itself.
