Navigation Maps and Programs

I have recently been looking for the best navigation software for my touch. I know as of right now there isn't an internal GPS working until Rev. A, but I might look into a bluetooth GPS receiver. As I look all over this site at navigation programs, I am getting more and more confused. I have seen the TomTom mobile software, which I'm not sure if it works with the touch. (Please tell me if it does) And also if that has maps with it? I guess what I'm wondering how all of that works. Do I need to get a map file as well as the software from the same company? Or do map files work with any program? And which programs do you think are the best with which map files? Thanks for your help.

And one other thing, what is DACH? I've seen that on most of the navigation threads here for maps.

im not famialiar at all with the nav yet im still waiting for rev a on my touch so i can download all the nav programs i can find and test them and make videos on them like usual in all my famous videos lolz but i wouldnt recomend getting a bluetooth reciver yet because rev A is expected to some out in less than 2 months so it would be a waste of money to get a bt gps reciever... but thats just my opinion

ok tom tom is your best bet than i would say garmin after that. you will need to get the maps that you want....these can be found on google easily..... than you install the program and install the maps in the same folder and presto you have gps perogram on your phone..i wouldnt get a bluetooth adapter since the update is coming out in the next month if its on time

OK, well thanks for that. The only thing I was worried about would be that the gps in the phone was using cell towers instead of satellites and that those programs wouldn't work as well. Or something like that. But yeah, I guess I'm just getting ahead of myself. I'll just wait. Thanks again.
