WMA files in HTC Audio Manager

I am having trouble getting the HTC Audio Manager to recognize the information on wma files. It doesn't recognize the album, genre, or track information. I've tried loading the files through the file explorer in the sync program and syncing the files through wmp. Any ideas/suggestions?
