Having trouble locating original ROM
 

I have a Sprint Touch and I have updated to a WM 6.1 version. I would like to revert back to the latest supported Sprint version of the ROM if at all possible.

Anyone have a link or mind throwing one up here?

I got my touch today, and believe I went a little too deep too fast for my own good.

Basically want to just back up.

you will need to keep the bootloader unlocked like you did when you ran the unlocker. i am uploading the rom to rapidshare as we speak so it is going to take about 45 minutes for me to post up the link but this is the stock rom that has better compression so you get 10mb more to mess around with. will be posted in bout 45 minutes.

If I understand correctly, you are saying this is the Sprint stock ROM but slimmed down a bit?

yup everything is the same and nothing is missing but has 10mb more of storage for you since it has been compressed better than the stock one. so in easy words the stock rom compressed better.

Downloading it as we speak.

Once I use the Vogue Unlocker, it stays unlocked correct? Just wanting to make sure I am not doing something silly to mess this up.

Looks like that fixed up the problems. For some reason Sprint TV still just sticks on the loading screen and wont go to the main menu.

Annoying. Hope it works itself out. Gotta have my Sprint TV.

do a quick search for sprint touch updates also stickied under the help desk area for the touch and install the sprint tv cab and that will fix it for you.

installed the touch vogue sprint TV cab, still just hangs up on the splash screen...

Not happy. Bout to have to resort to Sprint tech support AHH

what you mean the spash screen..... the beginning after reboot or you talkin bout the tv screen and all........ if that doesnt work for the tv ask them to message you over the cab file for the tv and share it with us please.

It is the screen that pops up on the Sprint TV program. Where the two yellow specs flow away from the middle like it is loading. It never gets to the menu screen where you can select Sprint TV or the one past that where you actually see your channels.

ok thats not the splash thats where i got confused... splash screen is the sprint ahead animated screen when you soft reboot. you might have to call them than and see what they can do for you since i have no clue what else you could do.

Found another thread where a lot of people are having the same problem.

Short answer, no resolution. Sprint could not help either after a VERY long phone call.

In short, I am just TV less until I can figure something out!
