This is the thread for nueROM 2.0, based on WM 6.1 OFFICIAL release.

I updated to the latest official release of WM6.1 from the leaked Kaiser roms. XIP has been ported too, seems like it had some new memory management features too. Enjoy, and let me know if you encounter problems. As a quick test of speed, try going to file explorer and opening the windows directory.

Thanks to bepe for the wm6.1 beta builds, and olipro for the unlocker. Thanks to cmonex at xda for listening to my stupid mistakes at 3am.

This is a clean rom, so it doesn't have much on it. YOU MUST USE THE NEW BOOTLOADER (Olipro 2.40) for this rom to work.

I WILL NOT BE RELEASING A KITCHEN, but you can use baseKit 5044 to insert files into YOUR kitchen, packages I build into rom are located in packages. Windows live is provided in SYS_OPTIONAL if you use windows live. IMPORTANT! You must download the regular rom too and extract os.nb from the nbh to build or else you will be using the wrong XIP! PLEASE NOTE THAT THE USE OF BASEKIT IS UNSUPPORTED! COOK AT YOUR OWN RISK.

**Known issues:
GMAIL users are forced to use POP3 Email due to auto-detection (EDIT: Omegax posted a fix: type in gmail wrong and fix it later).

Please post any requests in this thread and I will try to do my best to accomodate them, provided that it does not involve adding applications to the rom. IF you find out how to fix something, please post it so I can fix it in my next release.

After the upgrade, I cannot connect to the internet. I can connect through wifi, but not through #777. I get a page not found error. Itried hard and soft resets, but no help. Any suggestions

I get "The page cannot be found. Check the name and try again." If I connect wifi, everything is fine.

I started with 5041 from your post. I never tried the net. I then tried 5043, and the internet didn't work, and still doesn't with 5044. I am using radio 2.37. Is there anything else I should have done during the updates. I just got the phone, and this is my first attempt at this.

Sorry, I meant radio v3.27 is installed. I must use 3.16, and not 3.27, correct.

Here just flash this first...It will put correct radio on your device.Try to actually use the thank you button as well....

the link i pointed you to is radio 3.27...It is not a actual full rom..This only flashes correct radio to your device...after this reflash your wm6 or wm6.1 rom of choice...

never mind you must use radio 3.27 and rom 3.16 i got confused with your post wording...any way flash to 3.27 if your not already there then make sure your phone is unlocked and then flash to 3.16 no2chem 5044 rom and that should help ya

I'm sorry, still learning the lingo. However, I have done both things in the post, and now I have the problem. Should I flash back to stock ROM and start over?

I originally put 5041 on. I got stuck at the splash screen because I didn't load the radio. Dash poimted me to the radio link and I loaded it. Phone works and calls out, wifi internet works, but when I use the phones internet through the phone (#777), it says locating, then errors out saying page cannot be opened. When I switch over to wifi, all is good...

606611 is the new prl but that shouldnt make a difference when the net thats just for the towers and the refresh rate for the signal. (and damn another rom i would have to flash too. this is getting bad lol) you could try it though and ask them to flasg your account for a prl update and see where it goes from there. if that dosnt work ill see what i can think of.

What is a prl update, and how would I go about asking for it. Call Cs?

If I just wanted to go back to stock before all of this (radio, rom, WM6.0), how would I do that?

as said above call customer service and than ask them to flag your account for the prl update.... and for the other you would need to use the titan relocker tool and than flash the stock rom which you cna find here or at htc.com.

I had my hone updated to prl 60611. However, this didn't help.

i ahve no clue why it wouldnt be working for you since it works for me without any problems. the only thing i can think of is that its just your area and just see if it works by the morning. they might be having troubles over there or summtin.

Yeah, I don't know. I've redownloaded and reloaded the program just to be sure. My gf has the same phone on the stock software. Hers and mine (before the changes) worked fine.

I think I will try to put the phone back, and see what happens.

i dont know why it would be doing that too you since there are thousands of people with this rom and using the net without problems.

1. Verify you are in sprint service not in roam settings....

2. Verify current user email is actual sprint email under device info...

3.Verify with your msl you have correct mdn. and the other setting.Cant remember exact name.But its right under mdn.You will need your msl to do so.for this you need to contact sprint.

4.Verify you have also installed the iota cab from the extended rom.Can be found here search sprint extended rom.


one of these things has to be causing your current issue. Doing these can help you narrow down your situations cause.

When the sprint rep wanted me to go to phone, menu, options, services, internet, get settings, and start "initiate custom NAI entry to device" (client-initiated IOTA) it wouldn't work.

Could # 4 be my problem....

Like i said install iota from the extended rom.Otherwise if its to much of a issue.wait till you get a sprint release thats official.For the mean time re lock your phone and then reinstall 2.17. from htc's site. search sprint mogul rom.

I found the extended rom thread that you started. I downloaded the software. I see the IOTA cab, but I'm unsure how to install it. Do I just move the files into a certain folder.
