Touch Stock Screen Protector!?
 

ok sorry if this has been posted i did a search for it. a quick search and couldnt find anything.



but i was wondering what is the best way to install the screen protector that came with my touch on it? easiest and simplest way to clean the screen and install it.


because this is the 2nd one i have had because the first one just gave up on me within a month.


i installed that one on it using the "credit card" method i believe. where i stick it to the screen and slowly pull back the thing while smoothing it out but i still ended up wit like a piece of lint or something under it and it didnt work out so well and i didnt want to take it off afraid it wouldnt stick again. when i picked up the 2nd touch at my local corporate store i asked them if they would install it for me and he said no. i was going to ask a place in a local mall that does a shield protective for electronics to do my shield and not there and ill pay a couple dollars but i dont think they would of did it.


so any ideas whats the best and easiest way to clean my screen (since i got some finger smudges on it now) and install it.


some real detailed included step by step instructions would be really appreciated.

this has search for screen protector but here are the steps.

1. clean the screen with a lent free cloth
2. splash some water with your fingers onto the sticky part of the screen protector. (enough to be able to slide the screen protector to get in in the right place on the screen.)(not windex eats away at screen the ammonia)
3. place on screen and get centered.
4. use squegee or playing card (not credit card ruins screen) to get out air bubbles.
5. dry and enjoy.

im not sure what kind lint cloth you talking about like wher can i pick one up from? but ya that gets rid of the lint and like that what about my finger prints and smudges on the scree.


and there has been a topic posted on this? sorry if there has been.


but yes im not sure if i would splash alot of water on it or not plus i would be afraid the water would get into the phone and ruin it when i slide it on the screen.

no water wont bro just get some on your hand like dip it in the water than splash it on there like you would to someone after washing your hands... should be pretty covered good amount.... not gonna ruin it since its seled really good up there due to the sweat fro myour face when talking on it and from your hands when touching the screen so you will be straight. and walmart sells the lent free clothes for lie 1 buck.
