Mogul REV A New boot Screens Gets Rid Of The TEST ONLY DO NOT SALE MESSAGE - ISSUE
 

It does not allow me to update it to this rom version. It sits at the Update Screen at 0% then tells me to reboot it. Do I need to run an unlocker or another program to get this to work.

Please advise.

no! dontrun the unlocker because the rom wont work on it than. you are using the WM6 leaked rom correct? and also i have never heard of it doing something like that. have you trid to manually place the phone in ootloader first by prssign and holding camera, power, and soft resetat the same time?

Not using the WM6.. Using Sprint Beta Rom 3.27 that was leaked out i believe that did not require to unlock it.

correct the radio is 3.27 but the rom is 3.16...... i dont understand why it wouldnt be allowing you to do this since it was made for this rom only.

i dont know either I will try and get it to go to bootloader mode so i can try like that and see if it works.

if your trying to use the post i posted to change the test only those only work unlocked...not with the beta leak...more for no2chems wm6.1 and dcd's roms.I know because i am running the second one plus no2chem's.

try doing it all from bootload...unlock flash that.....then relock flash 3.16 might work....

- Unlocked it with Titan Unlocker.
- Loaded the Bootscreen.exe file process
- When it came back on with new logo and background looking good
- Restarts on its own at random. (when I was in teh Align Screen it would reboot w/o notice.

Do you have radio 3.27? Also as i said this isn't for the sprint beta...only dcd's and no2chems roms....btw after this is installed you can flash new custom rom and it should stay still...

Which Custom DCD/ No chem do you recommded for it to be stable.
- FYI - it is still unlocked.
- hasn't rebooted since i have charging.

i dont recommend dcd i recommend nuerom by no2chem build 5048

Will do I am download the WM6.1.zip file and teh 5048 ROM version.
There is a 5051 version but i guess you have not tested it yet.
-Going to Override the RGH file in the WM6.1zip and run the update from there.

Just Applied the 6.1 Update 5048 from No2Chem
- Still Rebooting at random.

- Should I just go back to the original Sprint Beta Rom to clear out the Bootloader File that messed up the phone?

yeah we know bout the 5051 but it is buggy as hell and has some problems.

I put back the Sprint Beta Rom, b/c the No2Chem rom 5048 has the same affect of the handheld keeps rebooting.

- When it is plugged into Charge or computer it doesn't reboot as often as if it is unplugged.

huh i have heard of this problem and have been successful in fixing the reboot loop. its a problem in the registry and you have to search through alot of files and know which ones to change. for some reason they even stick through the hard resets and the flashes. (no clue why since they shouldnt) if you wanna send it my way and do the modding service i will get that fixed up for you and put whatever apps,games, themes, ringtones or anything that you want on it.

well if it is the registry then I can fix it since I have knowledge on this. I just need to be steered in the right way on what to find what to modify. For right now I have like i said in the Sprint Beta Rom and it is working perfectly.

If you have a link on how to fix this or can email me the instructions, I will be more than happy to apply them to my phone. I am very thankful for your help overall and will be Donating to the cause. :)

it still can be fixed you basically have to force the phone to drop settings....Heres how i do it...reflash 3.16 then 2.17...do it like crazy over and over a few times....I did this and eventually it reloads stock boot screens and all.....

as said above it searching through the registry looking for errors. i know most of the registry by heart now buti compare with my phone and change it to be the same usually..... so no way of giving you instructions on how to do it since it would take forever to type out the registry.
