Rev a Missing sms Threader?
 

I installed the rev a rom from http : // www .Wckediden . com / showthread .php ?t=146856 and I was under the impression that this had the sms threader, and GPS via sprint navigation, I have sent SMS's and they aren't threaded and I tried the sprint nav and it never finds a location outside in the sun or in a car it doesnt matter. whats the deal? and has anyone successfully got treo alerts to work well on this rom?

some moguls i think depending on build date have had gps issues...thankfully i have had two not a issue...but i had a mogul i modded the other day wouldnt get sat....the threaded sms is for wm 6.1..i can't tell by the link you posted all messed up what you downloaded....next time leave spaces out.

just to let you know also you have to call sprint and upgrade to the package with sprint gps

This is the rom I got, 3.16.651.0, 3.27, I am accessing the app and it searches for sats on a 2 day free trial of sprint nav, but it just doesn't find anything, the build date on this device is fairly recent i would think I just bought the device 3 days ago.

I wanted the rom with the threader (6.1 rev a) which is what I thought I was getting, but I guess I read wrong, and got this one it was fast easy and nearly fool-proof, I think there is probably alot more steps involved installing 6.1 rev a, but the threader does seem worth it, The palm hreader is semi-scetchy at best. these apps written for a treo ported to a mogul, via a small change in code (i.e. treo alert pro) just don't function as they should, understandably of course obviously written for a different device, yet the posts from the creator states full compatibility and functionality on the 6800. ohh well maybe the genius (d/\sh) can create an app for the 680 pecifically that does what treo alert pro does for the 700wx. that would be awesome. definate rep point!
