This is the thread for nueROM 2.0, based on WM 6.1 OFFICIAL release.

THIS IS A WORK IN PROGRESS. FLASHING THIS ROM MAY/WILL RUIN YOUR DEVICE.

I updated to the latest official release of WM6.1 from the leaked Kaiser roms. XIP has been ported too, seems like it had some new memory management features too. Enjoy, and let me know if you encounter problems. As a quick test of speed, try going to file explorer and opening the windows directory.

This is a clean rom, so it doesn't have much on it. YOU MUST USE THE NEW BOOTLOADER (Olipro 2.40) for this rom to work.

I WILL NOT BE RELEASING A KITCHEN, but you can use baseKit 5051 to insert files into YOUR kitchen, packages I build into rom are located in packages. Windows live is provided in SYS_OPTIONAL if you use windows live. PLEASE NOTE THAT THE USE OF BASEKIT IS UNSUPPORTED! COOK AT YOUR OWN RISK.

**Known issues:
GMAIL users are forced to use POP3 Email due to auto-detection (EDIT: Omegax posted a fix: type in gmail wrong and fix it later).
(5050+) = crashes imgfstools on nbmerge. You'll need to manually repair the partition table before using nbmerge.
(5050+) = PLEASE TAKE OUT YOUR BATTERY AND PUT IT BACK IN, THEN HARD RESET AFTER FLASHING. The new partition table requires a full reset.
Please post any requests in this thread and I will try to do my best to accomodate them, provided that it does not involve adding applications to the rom. IF you find out how to fix something, please post it so I can fix it in my next release.

If you are new to flashing, please read this provided by quantumforce1. No, your phone is not a brick if its on the tricolor screen.

This one sucks so bad...lol i tried it...went right back to 48..........had some bugs.....Call me anal....but i like my shit looking right.........

holy crap thanks for the heads up bro, I was getting ready to dowload b/c I stil have 48 but 4get it, Ill stay with with it until maybe 52 comes out and gets rid of those bugs, good looking out

yup I agree on that, if anything he should look into making it lighter as in checking to give us more memory space...

Kaos, did you yank your battery and do the hard Reset? I had some problems with it before i did that, and it seemed to make a big difference in performance.

in my eyes 48 with the cabs to make it 49 is the best....because now hes starting to take stuff out and add in stupid stuff like dialers....Getting like dcd....i liked his roms cause they were simple not bloatware....but now hes listening to idiots telling him to add dialers.Stupid stuff....I liked it cause we the end user could customize it our way.....hes also added in nuemms....Which in my eyes honestly is pointless...It still uses email for the number...i know all my contacts carriers....I use my sprint email to send pics...I don't need his...I think it should be end users choice...After all we support and DONATE.Just think to much can ruin a good thing....If he keep the memory improvements left stock dialer...droped mms....After all its a cab you want it install it.....if he redid 48 with the page pool to 3...it would be sick....

first of all this is really old and second of all this says mogul so no it will not work with the vogue..... try the omj rom....

bro you have 38 posts you should no this look at the side menu and go to roms releases. also maby do a search for omj* with the search feature below the main banner.
