Problem
 

my touch will not connect to my pc. I have searched and i have found a couple threads and tried doing those things. i have soft reseted a couple of time and i have uninstalled the program i installed before it stopped working then i soft reseted again but it still wont connect. for some reason my laptop wont recognize it and wont allow it to connect. Any ideas?

this has been a known problem and there isnt a sure fire way of fixing it... just tinkering around till you can get it to work.

okay so now i just realized that it doesnt connect to anything it wont even connect to my charger. so as of now i cannot charge the phone. I turned it off so that i could tr to save some battery in case i needed to do something on it.
what should i do now?

dash is the expert, but i personally would take the batter out of the phone for 2 min. then try it again

to fix your activesync problem, try going to start > settings > Connections > USB to PC and check Enable advanced network functionality...if you havent done that yet...

try wiggling the usb port..if it connects and unconnects its the usb port...i had this happen on my old mogul...usb port pins were messed up..sprint replaced it...

and kaos comes through in the clutch my pins were a little bent. I just used a pen and made them even and now it works. Thanks. I still have a week left before my 30 days are up so if it happens again ill replace the phone.

ya all i use is my adapter for it now.............the one thats right size...........
