anyone know what program i can use too change the factory sprint buttons on the sprint htc touch home screen?

factory sprint buttons what ones are you talking bout there is the tabs/icons/buttons for the home plugin with the clock and than there is also the ones with like sprint tv.

the sprint buttons at the bottom with the phone sprint tv, photo, how can i change that bar or icons

you want to change the icons themself or just where they go or both.... we need you to be specific to help ya bro otherwise we might tell you the wrong thing.

i just want to change icons, u know how the htc home customizer changes the today icons, im lookin for something similar but for these buttons

well there is no customizer for this all has to be done through the registry. heres what you have to do.

I just made new .bmp images, copied them to the phone, and edited the xml files that define the HTC Home Sprint (QuickLauncher) bar. The xml defines which icon is used , as well as what is launched for each button. The files are ql_skin_l.xml and ql_skin_p.xml (landscape & portrait version).

The only trick was understanding that you need to make two images for each icon- one for the color, and one for the transparency. Also they need to saved from a paint program that supports the .bmp format that this plug-in uses (R5B6G5)
