How to Customize HTC Home?
 

I've searched and searched and I can't find the answer but if it's already out there please point me in the right direction. I have HHCv10 how do I change the paths on the main buttons? I want to change the music button to launch Audio Manger. I would also like the SMS button in the middle to fire at SMS Chat. Last the little buttons near the bottom, battery, screen change, comm manager and backlight settings. There must be a way to add or change these buttons, I can't find it. Please help.

inside the HHC app (HTC HOME CUSTOMIZER) , there are tabs at the bottom... These tabs alllow you to customize the HTC home plugin to your comfort. Please search for that app and if you have a problem, please post your problem inside the that thread. No need to create a new thread for this... Thanks.. 1)To change the paths on the main buttons and to rename the soft keys you need sktools,do a search here for it.
2)To change the music button go into the htc home customizer and in the bottom there are tabs go all the way to the right untill u hit options and in the middle it will say select music player.
3)as for mapping the sms button in the middle we havent found a way to do so yet.
4) and im not sure what u mean by buttons near the bottom pls give more info

I don't have HHC in my program list. There is a HTCHome in the file explorer under my device but it only has a bunch of links or picks.

than you need to download it, bro do a search for HHC v1.0 its the latest.

go to start/settings/today. then the make sure you have the htc home checked (not the htc home plugin). If you dont see it then it isnt installed. Please install htc home first then soft reset. make sure you see it after you soft resetted, then install htc home customizer.... please press the thanks button!

did you install to device? do you have the htc home? If yes to all, then delete both of em, and install htc home first and then install htc home customizer. install them both to device and soft reset

After working with it a little here is what Ive found. I have HTC home v10, but I don't have HHC. I removed HTCv10. Then installed as directed HTCv10, installed fine. Then I tried HHC2.1 that was unsuccessful. I was also unsuccessful in installing Ultimate Launcher. In the today screen there is a HTC home plug in. I don't have that checked and I can't find it in the remove programs list to remove it. Please Help. I have all the apps in need but they will not install properly. I did have Slide to unlock pro but have since deleted it.

fyi I'm running Alltel 2.14. I read through all the ultimate launch thread and it did not help me load the app successfully.

are you shittin me are you talking bout it saying install unsuccessfull?? if so its in there three times.... dont download the attachment and download from the rapidshare link

Got it. The question was asked on post page 2 and answered on 14.

Now how do install HHC I get a unsuccessful install error when I try to install HHC.

make sure you use a link and not an attachment..... theres an error with xp nad vista uploads experienced by some users.

Worked. Thanks I did down load several cabs and the rapidshare one worked.
