YES! I've used WebCamera Plus before and it worked better than my actual logitech webcam. It was kinda tricky to get working (just because of initial setup) but then its easy after that. You only have to set it up that first time.

how hard was it to use? but ya i would think using anything on your phone for long periods would just ruin it.

Well it was just that there were some options that I had to play with so that the computer will register it as a webcam. It really wasn't too difficult, but not plug-n-play (at least for me anyways). And as for it being ruined, digital lenses can't lose quality over time from just using it. The only thing that could really alter quality over time is dust. Or dropping it which could blow out receptors on the main sensor.

well u never know the way electronics r so sensitive. well if i try it out i might need to ask u wat settings and options u had to use to get it to work for u so i can with me. but the light was always my main worry of that being ruined

Well I'm pretty sure that they use an LED bulb in the phone and those have an average lifespan of 50,000 hours. Possibly up to hundreds of thousands of hours since it's not a high output bulb. LEDs are the most durable bulb out there, so I wouldn't worry too much if I was you. And if you need any help getting the webcam set up, just ask.
