Mapping Battery and Settings?

I recentley installed Ultimate Launcher and I want to map SETTINGS and the BATTERY level. This way I won't need to use the start meun any more. I know it must be easy but I've spent about an hour looking for it.

If i'm understanding you correctly, you could install quickmenu and put system brightness on your launch list with htc home if you use it.

you dont need quick menu to do that its in the list of apps under the launcher when you add a new program to the tab on the htc home plugin
