[SOLVED] I have an evil spirit in my phone...
 

My phone is doing some really wierd things, The clock stays at the same time of which it at when it starts up, I did the reg hack to change the messed up battery meter (kaos' rom) to the date, and the battery meter keeps coming up (the date was coming up yesterday) Home customizer keeps freezing when I try to change it... I did a hard reset on my phone yesterday. I got a text message, deleted the message about an hour ago, and it still has the 1 next to it, the mail/text/missed calls will not update... my question is, is there a simple fix for this? Or do I need an exorcist?

Edit* I tried uninstalling htc home and htc home customizer, deleting all of the files, and installing homepluginwm6.cab (was using the 2.1 version) and the same thing was happening... please help!

hhu you might have to flash back to the stock rom and see if it does it and if it fdoes bring it to a sprint store and get a new one.

strange bro...but remember htc customizer is built in my rom...so if you delete it expect strange things to happen...

i think i may have messed up a reg setting... when i go back to a stock rom, will that redo the registry as well?

yes but a hard reset will also change them back to the way it is in the rom.

that was wierd though... i heard there was a problem with hhcv1.0 (i updated it from the rom's version of 0.8) with homepluginwm6

well there is most likely your issue....you can't update it successfully if is built in to the rom..I'm still on my 420 with loads of appz..no issues what so ever...and i also did the battery icon fix....lol i posted it in ppc6800 section its a sticky works fine...

well I have kaos rom and I removed the home customizer he built in and installed version 1.0 and I never had a problem so i doubt its that. version 1.0 is stable but like they said try a hard rest or flashing back....and becareful editing registrys, u can mess ur shit up like dat

its working now. reflashed stock rom, the went back to kaos' rom.
