Nintendo Roms

Here are a couple of NES roms. I havent tested them all but for the most part they work. I use these with pocketnester. Just creat a folder on your phones mem card called roms. Then save wichever roms you want to that folder. Enjoy!

Ok first of all make sure that pocketnester is saved on you device. Then make sure the roms are saved in a folder on your memory card.

(Tip: close other applications running cuz this program uses a good chunk of ram.)

Now go to pocketnester and open that, then when it opens go to options, > preferences > select associate all .new files with nester > ok.

Now go to file > open rom > browse to the right folder on your mem card and select the rom you want. Thats it.

(hit that rep please)

odd...Let me post my settings and you can match them:
Preferences:
Associate .nes files with nester (clicked)
auto-frame skip (selected)
Thread priority (normal)

Graphics:
Show more than 8 sprites per line (selected)
ALL OTHER BOXES IN THIS MENU NOT SELECTED - dont remember what is selected by default but either way that should be the only box selected)

I didnt mess with sound menu

controllers: you can select whatever you want
i have: Up (w) down (s) left (a) right (d) start (space bar) select (enter)

Directory:
select: relative to rom dir. on both boxes

try those settings

Re: Nintendo Roms

Ok so I just got it working by opening PocketNester then going to Options>Graphics and unchecking GAPI, which takes it out of full screen mode. This fixed it for me.

Like I had said in graphics options only one box should have been checked AND GAPI WAS NOT IT!

but Im glad you got it to work bro. Hopefully others will read my settings post.

Re: Nintendo Roms

Anyone else notice that the games only recognize one button at a time? E.g. you can't run and shoot or look diagonally. That makes it REALLY hard to control a lot of the games. Esecially CONTRA, the GREATEST GAME EVER.

Re: Nintendo Roms

Actually its not. Its in another thread I made. The zip in the first post only contains the Roms. Search in this same are (WM Games) and you will find a thread for pocketnester.

Use the search button and hit that rep!
