[SOLVED] Screen won't turn on
 

Help! After a failed attempt at installing WM 6.1, I downloaded the original ROM for my carrier from HTC. Now I've reflashed back to normal, and have done a second and third hard reset, but my problem still exists. After the phone comes on and the screen goes off to save power, or if I turn the screen off, it won't come back on. I try to turn the screen back on and the green LED goes solid for 2 seconds, then nothing happens. And the power button does nothing from then on. The phone is useless unless I soft reset again. Anyone have ANY ideas?? Thank you so much!

This is might be a dumb question, but when the backlight is suppose to luminate can you see anything?? Even the slightest letter or image?... Sometimes the backlighting settings get messed with and you need to adjust them.. good luck!:rotflmao::rotflmao:


Also, when you flashed and reflashed, did you make sure you follow all the steps including taking battery out or waiting for customization to customize or not to customize? If is important that you followed all the necessary steps!

also did you relock your phone before you flashed back????? also if you did you might want tot try a hard reset or even a reflash to fix the problem...... go have been a bad flash.

No, the back light doesn't illuminate at all, it's frozen until I soft reboot.
