Shell error
 

Guys, I get this error message "An unhandled error has occured in the shell.Attempting to restart the shell" frequently. Is there a fix available to this? And another problem I have is when I unplug the phone from external power, it will reset over and over about every 30 seconds, but when I plug it back in it stops resetting. I have searched and I can't find an answer, sorry if this is a double post.

Here's my info:
Alltel PPC6800
Rom: 3.35.NO2.5060 KAOS FU version
Radio: 3.35.04
Windows 6.1

huh did you make sure that you hard reset and took the battery out after the flash?

I did that Dash when I installed the rom. This is so weird, when I plug it in to the usb cable it stays on, when I unplug the cable it keeps resetting. It has to be some kind of power setting but I have no idea what to do, this is weird.

no clue why it would do something like that could have been a basd flash if you flashed recently or it also could be a program that is conflicting with something else if you have installed something new lately.

I agree, I think I'll flash a new rom. Could you recommend what rom you would suggest?

I need a drink, lol. Dash, I reinstalled the kaos **** sprint take 2 rom and the phone still would reset by itelf. So I decided to go back to the stock rom. I relocked the phone as described in your rom instructions and now it is on the red,green,blue,white screen and I tried to install the Alltel rom, it gets to 12% and says error and won't load. So now I am stuck on this colored screen and I assume it is in locked mode and I don't know what to do from here. I have tried unsuccessfully to get it to go. Please give me some direction, thnaks.

bro this has been discussed it may freeze and than have you go through the restore process. and do you have a sprint phone or a different. if your sprint you did right and just try to flash again from bootloader and make sure the screen says usb. if it isnt sprint you need to keep the phone unlocked since it doesnt recognize the sprint rom.

Thanks for the fast response Dash. I have an Alltel and I put the phone in manual boot mode and ran the unlocker, but it does not go. I have tried it several times, is there any other way to unlock it? Once again I am sorry for bugging you, I know you must get tired of all the questions, I'd gladly pay you for your support if you'd like.

yeah look at my signature and follow the steps in the learn how to flash area. there is links for the unlocker. but since you said that you relocked your phone to be able to unlock you will have to go to the main screen to do so and not bootloader. so flash the stock rom and than once you flash the stock rom unlock the phone and than flash to the sprint rom and than flash over to the 6.1 rom.

Dash, I'm sorry to keep buggin you but I'm getting no where. My screen is still the colored one and it says TITA1000 SPL-2.07.0000 CPLD-9
I've tried to run this rom 2.14.671.3_1.40.00_Altel_0816_NV132_Ship.exe to put it back to stock but it won't install. I also tried the new rom Alltel just released and that won't work. Do you have or know where I can get the stock Alltel rom I should install?

here at Wckediden do a search bro or go to moobile customizations form the side menu and than rom releases unsupported.

I know your going to get sick of me Dash, but I have searched and I can not find an Alltel stock rom on here anywhere, I looked in the customizations non supported and supported roms and found nothing. I hate to keep buggin you man, but I don't know what to do. Is it possible that I can pay you and call you and have you walk me through this?

Dash, I finally got it. I downlaoded the latest Alltel rom, which is an exe file, they just released and I could only get it to 12% and it would crash. Out of desperation, I put that exe file on my micro sd card and ran it through my computer and it worked. I don't know why, but it did. I have it working now. glad that you got it and will do cant wait to get out of this car but thank god i have my phone hooked up to my computer through wmwifi and gettting blazing fast internet speeds on my laptiop for free to help pass the time of a 3 hour car ride with the parents lol.
