[SOLVED] Major Laggin!!!!!
 

So i'm finding that i have to back up my mogul at least once every two weeks and do a hard reset and restore everything because i start lagging and my text messages start glitching. I thought that the custom roms or the new stock rom would help, but i got no luck. Any suggestions?

you should backup more than that in my opinion. use a program that frees up memory. a soft reset here and there could never hurt also. personal my phone rarely lags. try installing everything to main memory

Umm what ROm are you running on what phone with what carrier? If you dont now how to find what i am talking about, just soft reset your phone and tell me what the bottom right hand corner says... we are looking for numbers dashes and letter. For example : 3.35 or 2.14. 2.40 3.35-NO2

i'm using the new sprint stock rom 3.35. i got the HTC touch home launcer with touchflo running. Funcontacts, SMSchat, slide to unlock, with about 9.16 free memory internally at any given time.

Ok i am can recommend a rom that will give you better specs then what you just said. Do a search for Kaos Sprint Rom Take2..... READ EVERYTHING There.. Thats what i am rinning.... Touchflo is built in and thread sms, and WM6.1. you cant go wrong icontact builtin.... Check out my video on it here http://youtube.com/watch?v=6K6uNQ-kXYA

yeah so i checked it out and i think all that's hot. i'll check it out and let you know if it goes ok or not. i flashed no2chem's 5060 rom and i didn't like it as much as the stock rom. have you tried the no2chem rom and if you have, do you like this kaos sprint rom better? and if you do i'll try it out and see what happens. also, is there a way to put your own custom picture instead of the kaos middle finger? lol

I HAVE TRIED BOTH, KAOS ROM IS BETTER ON BATTERY LIFE AND MEMORY.. I would use that from what you told me of the stuff you have installed that i recommend KAOS ROM , alot it built in and has stabilty.... I will close this thread now... Thanks!
