Mogul/Titan and Skyfire

Hey all,

so I just got my beta code for skyfire, web browser rocks! But I did notice that it uses at least 9MB of program memory. And when you start trying to run flash movies or what not, it all goes downhill from there. I'm currently running the Kaos Take2 build with these programs installed:
HTC Streaming Media
Microsoft Live Search
AstroGPSLauncher
Skyfire
HTC Home

on average I have about 14MB of program memory, I have activesync enabled for my work email.

So anyway, my questions: Is there anyway to free up more memory? (I've been using that Oxios Hibernate tool after I close a program)
Also, does anyone know if there's a way to use external/storage memory as extra program memory? Sort of like Vista's ReadyBoost thing? I know I know....wishful thinking, but if something came out like that, that'd be sick. :-)

ive been messing with skyfire for bout a month now and love it. the video is a little choppy on my mogul but the audio is badass and the reason for it being 9 megs to run is because flash is built into the browser. when you on the net surfing just use a task manager like quick menu or x button to close out of the programs that you dont need open....... that should work fine since i have way more programs installed than you do and still running great.

That's the thing I only have 1 program open and I STILL have only 1-2 MB of program memory free....does anyone know of something that can make the microSD card part of the program memory?

No you cannot. Sdcard uses hard memorey and program memory uses RAM... I am not running skyfire, still waiting for my email like all the others (so those of you that are using skyfire, luck you)... but use the oxidos hibernate app that is built into Kaos ROm take 2, that should feee up memory and u can aslo run quick clean that is a app also built into the ROm.! SKTools also has a app to free up memory and clean the registry..

You have to wait for a beta invite, because the invite is linked to the phone number you registered with, and when running the browser for the first time, it asks you to login with the email you registered with.
