High Demand For Htc Diamond
 

The official unveiling of the HTC Touch Diamond hasn't even happened yet, and this smartphone is already shaping up to be a success.

The China-based Economic Daily News is citing a Goldman Sachs report when it says five to ten wireless service providers around the world have placed orders for this Windows Mobile device.

Goldman Sachs predicts that this will be a big seller for HTC, and estimates that before too much longer this company will be shipping close to half a million of them a month. It predicts that HTC will eventually sell 4 million of them.

More About the HTC Touch Diamond

This smartphone will an upgraded version of the very popular HTC Touch, and like its predecessor it won't have a hardware keyboard but instead be focused on its touchscreen.

It will have a number of upgraded features, like a VGA display, a 3.2-megapixel camera, and Windows Mobile 6.1 Pro.

There will eventually be both GSM and CDMA versions with 3G support, and some of these will include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.0 and/or GPS.

i hope that this Diamond operates smooth without being so slow, like my Sprint Touch, i feel like every windows mobile phone is so laggy and slow, i don't really like the iphone but the iphone operates so much smoother to me the functionability of windows mobile is awesome and i love it, but ITS SO SLOW TAKES TO LONG TO LOAD SCREEN MOVEMENTS ARE LIKE 30FPS.

Ahhhh i hate waiting for this phone to come out. Right now, the closest thing to getting this is the HTC Diamond Today plugin and the keyboard on my tilt :triste:

hahahah we all hate waiting but im not waiting too anxiously for this even though i will get it but what i am waiting for anxiously is the raphael since3 i love my sliding keyboard.

I must say... The Diamond looks likes pretty darn sweet, but I don't think it compares to the look of the Raphael. Their specs are both about the same, but I will be looking for a sliding keyboard so the Raphael wins me over.

Both look pretty nice. I'm definitely looking forward to the Raphael more. But, considering i just got my touch a few months ago. I'll probably have to wait a bit longer than the rest of you. :40:

I hope we can get both phones in the US soon, Im waithing for the Diamond, but I provably I will go for the Raphael! Y need that nice looking keyboard!!!
