Overview: WMWifiRouter is a tool to use your Windows Mobile 6 (possibly 5) as a WiFi <-> GPRS/UMTS/HSPA router. It'll allow you to use WiFi capable devices to connect to the internet through your phone's data connection.
WMWifiRouter is a tool that turns your Windows Mobile device into almost an Access Point. Almost, because it uses an Ad-Hoc (computer-to-computer) connection instead of infrastructure mode. Its purpose is the same though: allow your WiFi-enabled devices to use your WM devices data connection to connect to the internet

WMWifiRouter instantly turns your wifi enabled smartphone* into a wireless internet hotspot. Now you can use your laptop and any other device with wifi to get online and surf, email, instant message, and anything else you normally use the internet for!

What Do I Need?
To use WMWifiRouter you need the following on your mobile device*:
- Windows Mobile 5 AKU 3.3 or newer or Windows Mobile 6
- Both a wifi and a cellular data connection
- An installed and working version of Internet Sharing**
- 15 MB of free device memory

Download Instructions: Users of WMWifiRouter version 0.91 and earlier should uninstall it before installing this version, to prevent conflicts.

For some users the normal versions do not install correctly.
There are modified versions of the installer below: ActiveSync - CAB
Note that you should only use these modfied installers if you are having installation issues!

Supposedly they fixed the heating issue and the internet is stable without losing connection ...!

I used my phone until the battery went out on v1.01 and never experienced overheating.
never had a connection drop. am I missing something. how many people experienced overheating.

Newer is always better. but i stay with the older version for now. plus ...these companies come out with version 1.03-1.1??/......constantly updating.

Well considering that they may fix a bug you haven't noticed yet, and the fact that the update envolves running one file, and resetting you WEP if you use one, I can't see any reason not to update.

I modded a verizon phone with kaos **** sprint rom ver 2, then put dcd's verizon rom on top of it, my question is, is this going to work just like the sprint mogul, where it doesnt connect to pam, just to vcast services? or is he going to get charged for pam services? the list of rom mods are: newest sprint rom (used it to get radio 35) kaos rom ver 2, then dcd's verizon rom. Are there any precautions I should take? Thanks a million!

Well to be honest with you a flashed my boyz verizon 6800 and was having prblems with the cab version of this app.. He was running sprints 3.35 REV A... i insatalled this version and it worked with no problems. i dont see how this may have a problems on the dcd's verizon ROM.... what's up guys dis wifi program stop workin on my phone. it keep saying fatal error Invalid license. I uninstalled the program then installed it back. it still say the same can somebody tell me if there's still workin.

well i jsut tested and now im gettign the same error leading me to believe that the number has become blacklisted.

I heard the wmwifirouter went commercial so that may be the prob. I found an older version that still works. Hope I helped a little.

I installed version 1.01 and it seems to be working. I dont know if anyone has noticed but the serials provided for v1.01, v1.03, v1.04i are all the same. Maybe that has something to do with it. For now I recomend people to just use v1.01 which you can find here and do the setting like that guy in the youtube video (link to video somewhere in wmwifirouter v1.01 thread) has them. Its working fine for me.

I have the same problem fatal error. I try all versions (1.01, 1.01i,1.04) with the same problem. But i found the solution for my problem. I unistall the .cab program that i install in my device. then i install the cracked.exe version 1.01i with my laptop via activesync and follow the instructions. i use the same serial txt and now works perfectly until now. Sorry about my bad english and i hope that this reply help someone too.
