Problem uninstalling programs
 

I have an Alltel PPC6800 with NO2Chem WM 6.1 Version 5060 installed.
I also have SK tools and Pocket Mechanic installed (both registered)
I am finding I am unable to uninstall programs from my phone about 75% of the time. I try the systems uninstall program, SK Tools and Pocket Mechanic and no luck. I get an error that says the file was unable to be uninstalled, do you want to remove it from the list?
Example, I just installed Flipside and it was working great, then for no reason it quit, so I figured I'd uninstall and reinstall. It won't uninstall. I have no idea what to do. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks guys.

odd.... i know there is a few but not all of them it could be since you might be installing ot hte card and not the memory on the phone........... you can always overwrite flipside.

I've tried to reinstall it over top of it and it won't go either. I think the problem started when I installed X button. It started causing shell errors and won't uninstall. I'm about ready to start clean and reload everythign again.

that would be a good start to try a hard reset and see what that will do for you.

My flip side stopped working out of nowhere yesterday too! And I can't get rid of it either. Hmmmm..thought I was just an idiot! lol

NOt gonna do a hard reset because I would not know how to get all my stuff back on my BEAUTIFUL phone! lol

i would say use a backup program but then you would just reset the problem too...maybe if you backup then delete the flipside from the backup folder? i would think that you should be able to do that

do you want to try that? worst possible you end up with the same problem and it would be good to know if it works

Thats wierd i have haf flipside on my phone since it was posted and havent had any issues with it... i love it and use it everyday!

I loved it too Big Jew, but it LOOKS like it's still there..but when I select a song or album, it won't do anything at all. Just completely stopped out the blue!
