Wierd.. I try to install, it asks to reinstall over old version. And it freezes when trying to install.

that not being able to click a link thing was the biggest problem for this app. glad to see it works....thanks man

This update made some big positive changes. The ability to click on a link is huge and they made it happen. They also got it setup, so that it actually uses your inbox(Windows), instead of creating it's own folder(area). These were the items keeping me from leaving it on my phone previously, but I think these changes are going to make me a permanent user :)

The problem was I had to delete 6,000 + of SMS Texts man. Then it installed quicker. Was a pain. Hope I dont have to update again.

I noticed how the right softkey isnt able to send texts anymore. The last version you could hit the circle soft key on the top right and it would send text rather than you touching the screen to send it.

try to soft reset that key should still work without problem

I did, still doesnt work. I guess there isnt a key on the keyboard that can send texts in this version.

can anyone else back up the problem that he is having with the right softkey on the phone not the screen.

Well when you use this program. Does the top right softkey on the keyboard send the text?

I am having the same exact problem as Dooper. Both the right and left softkey buttons do not perform their functions like they did in the previous Vito Chats. In order to send a text using Vito Chat you have to actually press the screen :(
Is there any way to fix that?

Besisdes that the program is MUCH better.

I have tried it. Its not working for me either. which isnt a problem for me. i can just touch the screen. To confirm with dooper its not working using the top right softkey on the keyboard nor is it working using the softkey on the front as well.

Yea touching the screen really is THAT big of a deal lol. and besides i am using kaos' rom so i already have threaded sms. its just this one looks a little cooler haha.

Oh and does anyone know which app allows for the on screen keyboard to look just like the theme for the Vito Chat?!?!

I loaded this as soon as I saw it and i gotta tell you I think I like the old one better..

First off, with the old one it took control of my SMS messages.. now while it does pop up first in the Vitos Threaded format after I close out of Vitos I have a bunch of notifications and messages waiting for me in my regular WM 6 message folder. In the old one this never happened..

Next, I cant seem to find the controls for changing the skins (maybe I misunderstood and this is not a option) but the black that it is in now is really hard on the eyes..

Last, this new version does not seem as fast as the old.....

I do like the hyperlink option but it does not seem worth what I have to give up from the old version... I'm not giving up on this yet.......But........???

(What I really want is WM 6.1 with sMMS that would be SWEET!!!)

After messing with it ..I'm having the similar reaction to it as sandunejunki.

Why isn't it taking over the WindowMobile sms like the old Vito SMS did?

is there something i need to do throught the start up menu?

I have a question. im downloading the app but when i unzip it and sync it to my phone its saying that this is not a valid ppc app. is there a cab for this?

I have this sms chat installed but trying to figure how I can get the black keyboard? I running zoomboard 2.01 I don't see a option to change the skin to black for the keyboard as in the pic.

What Am I missing?

MINE installed with the black screen. the only thing i could think of is that your had the previous version on your phone and it didn't override the old for the new. Make sure the old vito is completely gone.

its an exe you must run the file on your computer.

I don't know it's weird I uninstalled the zoomboard and smschat. I reinstalled sms chat and zoomboard everything is black but I dont get the black zoomboard.

The ones that have the black zoomboard and smschat how did you get it or the process you installed.

it sounds like you are trying to open through your ppc rather then your pc...

first you must make sure that you unzip the files and when you see the.sym-sms-chat_1.05.exe run that exe file..and follow the commands..but of course you must have your phone sync to do it.

Im trying to install this program but its not working after i extract the files on my phone. do i need pocket rar or something to make it work. i have also already tried a soft reset after extracting the files

did you read this thread you must install the exe from the computer not the phone.

yea ive read the thread but i dont see an exe file to run from the computer...i have the zip on my desktop but when i open it theres no exe to run

yes this can be used on your phone..... look in the first post it will say
