HTC Touch IM Notification
 

I have Yahoo messenger running thru OZ on my Sprint Touch. Is there any way to get notification on the Today screen that I have Yahoo messages waiting? Sprint messages shows up under the message tab but not Yahoo IM's. Now all I get is a notification that lasts for 5 seconds and disappears.

mmmmmm maby a touch user that uses oz messenger could help. on my touch i have never activated because i dont want to deal with them text messages that get send to you and all and also because i fell in love with palringo way before i got my touch and never looked back.

Go to settings ->today->items and then add instant messaging to that list. All messages from OZ will show up on your today screen from now on as long as your as signed in and the program is running. Not sure if I answered your question but I hope that helps.

I had that working already. What I was hoping to achieve was to have text and instant messages combined so that they show together in the prominent Text message tab. Since the IM show up in smaller font lower down on the screen (I raised them as high as they can go), my small brain sometimes fails to note their presence. That big, fat sweet Text message tab I notice every time.
