tried the locked one and the updater said it could not verify. BUT The unlocked one works. And I have a noob question, is it bad to keep the phone unlocked???

EDIT*** stuck at the htc smart mobilty screen.????

try hard resetting again to fix the smart mobility lockup also its not necessarily bad to leave your phone unlocked unless you are sending it to the manufacturer or something to have them take a look at it.

Did a hard reset still stuck. I did use the cokeman unlcocker and stuff do I need to run it again????

shouldnt have to, what radio version does it say on bootload should say R: something in red

First i tried the first one in this post, gets to 5% then resets the phone and gives me that error. Then I tried the other one and it went all they way through but now gets stuck at the boot loading screen.

well, im not to sure about this being that i have a mogul. If anything try flashing back to the custom rom that you were using that worked fine. and to let you kno, if you flash back to stock rom you are not going to have the gps/ rev a b/c its only in the custom roms

honestly dude i would reflash the rom you had back on there for now until i get a more concrete answer on flashing back to the old rom. It seems liek the nbh headers are completely different from radio 3.xx to original sprint rom so i will have to look more into it

Decided to try to install the sprint leaked rom since i hadnt given it a shot yet but whenever i run the installer it hangs at the "Verifying the information on your device" screen and then eventually shows me an error 320 - invalid command. Never run into this issue before any ideas what might be causing it? I am using a custom rom from ppcgeeks(piperom) and have 3.37 radio. Thanks in advance

mmmm no clue why it would do that you have the gps unlocker ran on your phone correct not the other one?

just ran the unlocker again and still running into the same problem. for ROM version im showing: 3.37.NO2.200 which i got from the using the 2.31 unlocker and my radio version is 3.37.10. anything else you can think of which im doing wrong?

not off the top of my head you seem to be doing everything correctly...... try to redownload the rom and try agian...

Tried that too, figured i may have just got a corrupt download or something but still same error. Anyone out there have any ideas haha?

ditto, I just tried to flash back to the original rom and nothing. My phone wont load pass the 'smart Mobility" screen.

thats becasue you dont ahve the radio. you need to get the speritn vogue stock radio for this to work..... if you search google for it you will find.

Hold down your end call and call button and do a soft reset to get it to the screen with RGB colors. Plug your phone in and it will say USB at the bottom, that means your connected.

no there is not some phones have the problem and some dont so we say dont do it!!!!! the problem that is faced is that when the screen goes into sleep it will not wake up!!! and you have to soft reset to get it to wake up...... so once it fall asleep for it to be used again you have to soft reset.

wel this might start up when you gt by tat you jsut dont have the right radio go to ppcgeks.com than the ftp than vogue/radios and download and flash the stock radio and you will be booting up.

ok i found the stock radio, last question, how can i flash the radio if its stuck on the welcome screen and cant get an acticesync connection?? if i can get past this, im in the clear :yahoo:

hold the power button and the camera button down nd soft reset and that will give you the bootloader screen.

Didn't know if this is where to post, but its related to Dash's post I quoted above. Ok, I am having this sleep/won't wake up problem. I didn't even get as far as flashing a custom rom. I ran cokeman's 2.31 unlocker. Wet fine or so I think. I'm showing 2.31 and in the bootloader 2.31.coke or whatever.

When I went to flash the rom, It never initialized. It hung up at 0%. Said this process would take about 10 minutes, but nothing ever happened for a good 20 minutes. Then I abandoned the rom flash after a while, and started playing with my phone. Noticed that I couldn't wake it up with the power button. Had to soft reset. I'm reading your post above and thinking I'm ****ed, but I can hardly think that's the case if I never even got a flash accomplished. Any insight? SHould I try and re-lock with the one in Venum's 1st post?

OK. I'm all good. Switched PCs, finally actually ran the Alltell rom for the new radio, flashed to a custom gps rom, and it wakes up even.

real quick question why does it say not to go from a gps rom to non gps rom?


right now my touch doesnt have gps on it or reva but im thinking about updating to the rom that was released for it. but what if i decide i wanna go back to this rom i got right now (that doesnt have reva or gps on it)? i cant do it cuz it will mess up my phone!?

OK if u do that with the touch you can brick your device....why? b/c you upgrade to a rom that enables rev a and gps drivers. and remember there isnt a stock rom that does enable those drivers, sooooo.....if u go back stock the phone might react stupid or possibly get bricked b/c your disabling the drivers again.

I have 0% tech know how= 100% noob i trying to understand wheni see "CUBE" or "Music Cube" is that refering to to the the iphone-ish app?....yes I am trying to find the way/application/instalation to my mogul....Help
