For all of you that still use TCPMP here are the available codecs/plug-ins. I have searched like crazy and the Thanks goes to the guys at XDA. I also have the DLL files for anyone that wants them for playing newer Windows Media Video WMV.

**UPDATE** Here are the DLL files for WMV9 or newer. Just copy and paste the DLLs in the TCPMP program files folderwhen you are in active sync.

Should be in there. I use the HTC streaming media player for youtube personally. Not sure on Myspace player.

yea pple say that you can use tcpmp to stream youtube and other video sites but i still cant get it to work even with flash bundle installed (anyone feel free to help me out please) anyway i found the myspace player already so im set, thanx

LOL excellent so this will all work great for you. If you use it for various other media too I also have the files seperate for WMV. You will then be able to download and play almost any file there is without error.

I've had tcpmp but not modded enough to play everything so this is a big step to inmortality lol, but I tried to go to myspace and no idea to get it to play, how did you set it to play youtube and myspace automatically?? I have the bundle installed but it still redirects to WMP even with flash video checked in tcpmp settings

The file associations need to all be check marked in TCPMP. The youtube is the MMS I believe and its the mobile version of youtube all the same content video wise just faster loading pages.

Just make sure you have the latest TCPMP. You can download it at http://www.ytpocket.comalong with the flash bundle right from your phone. I only needed the aac file and the 3 WMV files on mine.

please read the first post it clearly states to place the dll files in the programs files folder of the tcpmp

Didn't realize I had to put youtube. after all it doesn't have anything to do with youtube. Youtube just happens to be a site that it works with..

I'm using Opera 9.5 and it seems really close to being a great browser. are these components and DLLs already in Opera 9.5 and if not is there a way to have them work in opera 9.5

I was under the impression that there is a bundle of different flash components and players (skunks flash bundle - but nothing under that search) that will work for browsers such as Opera 9.5 I wasn't looking for a standalone youtube player..

is this the same as core player from core player . com or is it a differnt player? will the plugins work for coreplayer or dont i need them i got version 1.2.5 build 4506 thanxs.

no core player is different TCPMP stands for the core pocket media player and is a totally different programs and manufacturers so they wouldnt work.

ok well i installed everything. all the codecs. installed them correctly. and when i went to play a video an error popped up saying

"unexpected program failure. please send 'crash.txt' tto thee developers. program will now exit."

i would try to uninstall it and reinstall it..but TCPMP doesnt appear on the installed program list. im using Kaos take 3 rom and its built into it. so i cant figure out how to uninstall it..any help would be great. thanks

What format was video and sounds like you need to install TCPMP first then go from there.
