This is my Custom version of the new leaked Sprint ROM. Thanks goes out to Halfdriven, PPCkitchen.org & JakDillard!


*Before flashing this rom....*

-unlock w/ ImCokeMan's v2.31 unlocker (you may not need to unlock 1st, if you're a Sprint user)

-Flash the leaked rom .exe to upgrade your radio to 3.37.15 (skip post-flash Customization if you're non-Sprint)

I tried adding the latest java, but it causes Sprint Music not to work.......if you want the newest java & /or dont care about Sprint Music, you can use this version....

For those of you that are not on Sprint, you can use these roms, just like we all used the Alltel Official rom. I have removed the post-flash carrier customization, which includes PPST. If you would like to replace the startup animation for your carrier, I have included the Animated Gifs in the custom rom only for the below carriers. Use the included Advanced Configuration to change the path of the Startup Animation as follows:

Alltel- \windows\Animation.Alltel.gif

Verizon- \windows\Animation.VZW.gif

Bell- \windows\Animation.HTC.gif

Just highlight it by clicking and draggind and it will turn blue!!!!!

EDIT*** I am going to try this rom when I get home tonight. I will let you know how it works.

this is the same one i just flashed saturday. at first, everything was perfect but now for some reason i'm having problems locking on to sats. i think i've just added some software that conflicts with the GPS drivers tho.

well this was just released.... its an update not going ot look any different just some stability changes and other minor things....... .very nice rom though.

Unless i'm missing a version, this was acutally posted on ppcgeeks 5/16/08 and i flashed it saturday.

The only real change i see in it is that OMJ got flash to work so youtube will work now without giving an error.

I think this is a great rom except when ever you activate Google maps it prevents the Telenav from sprint to work anymore. I have to completely dump and reload rom again. It has happened everytime so far for 4 times. Anyone have any idea why it conflicts or how to prevent it from conflisting???? Thanks!

never heard of that happpenin.... but why you nee both google maps and sprint nav anyways?
