youtube and tcpmp
 
hey i was trying to play youtube video on my mogul. when tcpmp comes up. it says 'rtsp protocol not supported' what does that mean? do i need to add something else. i have vtap but the streaming is slow.

do a search for flash video bundle... look fo the latest one and install that.. then you will see a icon under programs that says Video Sites. you can watch youtube from there. or go directly to youtube site....hit the thanks button!

okay i can't really tell what version of tcpmp i have but i downloaded flv plugin thru ytpocket.com and followed the directions there. reset the phone and i am still getting the message. do i need to download the latest version of tcpmp because i am not sure what version i have.

under settings and about it will tell you the version.

it says tcpmp version 0.72rc1 i don't think that is the latest version. plz let me no.

why can't you just tell me if its the right one? i am trying to play youtube and its giving me this crappy message. i have installed all the updated plugins and i am still lost. i have done searches but everyone has a different issue so no one is really answering my question.

hey dash didn't mean to be rude. i was just frustrated with this stupid phone. sometimes you just wish you had all the answers. i understand what you all are doing here. everything is free and service needs to be appreciated. i will figure it out with ytpocket.com. thank you for the suggestions. again my apologizes.

OK i am going to help you and explain this carefully... but in the future please search as your issue and every other issue people post, are all answered here.... you need to uninstall TCMP if you have it installed and flashvideo bundle if you have it. its not that i didnt want to help you and all its that i dotn know the newest version for all the apps out here you know.... i cant know everything build wise and all........ you could have found the for future reference by searching goolge for the app and they will telly you the newest version at the developers website.

I have followed the instal. However when I go to youtube from ie i click on the video I receive a "running a system command on this item might be unsafe. Do you wish to continue, I press yes and Windows media pops up and gives me unknown error 0x8007274d has occured. any help

you need to have the flash media bundle.

I already have it. I installed tcpmp first, soft reset, the installed flash media bundle but I get that error.

what error are you getting? When do you get the error? What are you pushing to get the error? We need more information then that!

Thanks for your help!

You need to go into the TCMP settings and check FLV to be played through the player. The issue you are having is with which media player should play the file. Hope this helps!

I click on the video then then when windows media pulls up I get this error.

Sorry to keep bothering you. Flash video was already checked I uninstalled it and started over again but windows media still pops up.

that shouldnt make a difference honselty. I go directly to youtube and stream right from there site with out clicking the Video Sites link!
