*Before flashing this rom....*

-unlock w/ ImCokeMan's v2.31 unlocker

-Flash the leaked rom .exe to upgrade your radio to 3.37.15 (skip post-flash Customization if you're non-Sprint)(If you are a Sprint user, let the Customization run, then once phone has booted, run \Windows\PPST.exe to upgrade your PRI)

I tried adding the latest java, but it causes Sprint Music not to work.......if you want the newest java & /or dont care about Sprint Music, you can use this version....

the sprint OEM version isnt working for me cuz when i am installing my apps the phone freezes and the screen is irresponsive after soft reset forcing a hard reset, thats why i wanted to reflash to stock, im gonna try the custom one to see if it doesnt have the same issue

you took out the battery and hard reset after flash correct casue this one works fine on my boys phone.

reflashed and did that, works great.... i know better than this, im gettin fustrated. I guess im just exited for my new touch that i 4got, my mogul needs a vacation

when i try to run the unlocker updater it says theres not a conection but it put it in ther try color screen so it does not install it

did you unlock your phones bootloader with the hardspl for the vogue?

ok yes i did that i had to moves the syn cable to differant usb for some reason but how ocme with this rom theres a colors full little line at the top of the screen

try reflashing. Also, make sure you took the time to do all the steps corectly including taking the battery out and hard resseting if necessary!

Just a question that might not belong here but I had to ask.

I have a verizon vx6800 and if I install the custom rom to get the gps working would the gps work outside the U.S.A? I want to take a vacation into Mexico and wonder if I use the gps will I be charged as roaming or will it even work out there?

yes it will work without problems......... it would be best to use a tom tom or garmin found here at the site becsue the maps are on your card and no internet or service would be needed.

That color bar is a battery meter that was cooked into the rom. Its in the rom I'm using too. THought it was ugly until i figured out what it was. Take a look..

problem. followed all the instructions listed and now my phone is stuck on the htc splash startup screen. tried a hard reset to no avail. any thoughts?

well you must not have becasue you didnt flash to the alltel radio.... go to ppcgeeks and than go to the ftp and than vogue/radios and get the alltel radio from there and than flash that over and you will be golden....

yea place it in manual bootloader..... hold the power adn camera button down shile soft resetting with the stylus......

ok...so im new to this... but i installed the rom and now my internet doesnt work. I keep getting error that needs to connect to sprint, but im a verizon customer. Everything else works thats not dependant on internet...how do i fix this? Its dialing the right number (#777) but can connect....

ok i have looked for help for a couple days now. my question is. i have the sprint touch flashed to work on cricket service, i would really like to upgrade the rom to OMJ's, should i use the sprint version? will it wipe out all cricket settings? someone told me if i dont upgrade the radio it wont affect the cricket settings but isnt that part of this upgrade is the radio? then someone else said to not let any SSPT.exe(i think thats what it was)run. im so confused. can anybody help please? and if anybody is close enough i would just pay them to do this for me. if i had a back up i could send to d/\sh but i dont its my only phone.

Im sure someone has the answer, but I sure dont bro. I dont exactly know how the whole cricket flash thing works. I would think that if you flash this rom (3.37 radio requred 1st) you could always take it back to cricket to re flash if you do mess it up. Not sure though so dont quote me.

well you downlaoded the sprint version and not the verizon version than......

yes it will wipe out the cricket ware on your phone.

Ok, I mustered up the nerve to stop being chicken and upgraded my rom today. Once again....I LOVE U GUYS!! lol It was alot easier than I thought. Im so happy lol. So temporarily D/\SH Im biting off your name.... I AM DA SHYT!!! :yahoo: hahaha

Very true. You layed it out pretty simple. I read your instructions for 2 days before I actually tried it. I had everything memorized hahaha. Although I did download the wrong rom at first lol. I dl Sprints instead of VZW but that was my own error. And once I dl the correct one I was all good. Took me less than 30 mins even with the error. See...Im a good girl, I do as Im told! lol

Hi Dash,

Do I need to unlock with the bootloader if I already have the previous OMJ 6.1 version installed? Also...would you recommend upgrading to this current version or am I basically cool with the previous?

The previous version allowed you to filter the contacts using letters like [abc][def] etc...mines not showing this option anymore...was it taken off?
