google maps not recognizing my location

i just installed google maps but the "my location" app is not compatible with my device.. ne ideas??

If you have gps enabled and and you want to locate you location in Google maps, then start the gps..make sure it has a gps signal whether it be from a navigation app.. once that loaded... try the my location task in google maps!
