This is my first time to create cab installer so....
Very Important !!Before Install, Pls Backup your Device First!!


Install:
1. Install the above software, then install my cab
2. open XIAMultiTheme Config->Today->click the "Apply these themes"
Install->click the button "Install Today Plugin"
3. then go to Setting\Today\TodayPlugin --> select XIAMultiTheme4
4. open Program Files\XIAMultiTheme\themes\Manila-Black\mscr\install towckedar.mscr (nothing happen, cause this run in Background)
5. reset your device
6. OK enjoy ---> pls feeback!

Contact install
go to Programs Files\XIAMultiTheme\themes\Manila-Black\mscr
you can find one is contact.txt
Contact----open the contact.txt and fill your contact name & number carefully, (Contact0/name/number) must keep the "Contact0" and "/"
Contact photo---Manila-Black\contactpic replace the inside photo by your photo, but pls follow the number you fill at the contact.txt

Change Weather Location
Weather---open the weather.mscr (in mscr folder), change your location code and Unit (C or F) you need
location code you can find at http://weather.yahoo.com/
(for my location that is "CHXX0049")

Programs
Manila-Black\Programs --that include the icon and lnk file, just change it, but you need keep the file name--1.png and 1.lnk

update the prevew
now it's on the testing state
if everything OK ( i hope)
this release soon

again and again, Manila Theme, this time is All BLACK (more like the HTC diamond)
just a preview and it almost done (if i have more time)
this only use one today plugin, so i can delete some and make my device more space
(the music tag is only for preview the album cover and song name when u play with S2P, can't find any way to control it)

5. change wallpaper option (change to default, when you reset your device)

ive downloaded all the programs. the read me installation guide you need to print due to its two lines and alot of east to west scrolling. the install guides are confusing though, Im gonna give it a shot! Hopefully it works better than the blackdrop didnt dig on that one.

Itz acutally not that hard to install once the programs are on the phone. Nice app. Questions: How do I adjust the city for the weather and how do I add my people to the contacts and add programs i want on the program page. Thanks I know this had to take a lot of work on your part keep it up.

Im sure this will work on the mogul in portrait mode but will it work in landscape mode? And will this theme create skins for the calculator, phone, etc?

look i got almost all of this done and well im at a loading error now, theres talk of the cab coming out on the xda page and also that this beta version runs slow. just thought i would fill in.

yea thats why i havent messed with it yet,since its beta still then i know that ill uninstall eventually due to bugs,i rather wait for updated versions before i give it a spin, anyway i already posted that its still a first release beta and a cab is approaching but thanx for the info bro

Hey Guys...I am downloading the.Cab now...hummm do I still need all the previous programs or are they included in the .cab as well?

you need to det those apps, the cab is basically the applicaton of the theme, all the instructions are stated above

I have the mort program being used for my s2u2 - will this interfere with those settings or are you able to use that for more than one application.

[***EDIT***] Ok I dunno if this helps anyone but regarding updating your weather...when u go to http://weather.yahoo.com put in your zip to get the weather then click on the orange RSS button @ the top, it will change the page to RSS format (all text) on the first line it will list the "location code" if youre in the US it saying something like mine USGA0013 (US - United States, GA - Im in Georgia, then the 4 digit code) It took me forever to find that so I thought Id give everyone a heads up incase anyone else was stuck. And u will have to edit the weather mscr file on your desktop (or maybe its just me) because Resco only allowed me to view it but not edit it. [***EDIT***]

I raced home to get this thing installed. LOL. Im still tinkering but overall it looks pretty decent. Its slightly laggy but works nonetheless. Now Im just figuring out how to update the files (ie contact pics and settings) Its a bummer all that has to be done manually but I guess its a good way to learn so that when this bad boy gets upgraded and everything is just tap and click we'll still know the ole skool way. This is just a preliminary assessment after about 30 mins so...back to playing, I'll tell ya how it goes!

Ok, after playing with this thing for the last few hours Ive come to the final assessment that its a GREAT visual interface but not so smoothe on the back end. I think the concept was great and I give MAD KUDOS to the maker but its a little difficult and time consuming to adjust than I would like for my taste. Now I cant say that without giving examples...

1. With the exception of 3 button NONE of the program buttons map correctly (atleast not on my device) ie I push the play music button it auto launch S2P instead of just playing from that screen. Neither of the volume keys are mapped. I push mute, it turns volume on entire device off but tapping again does not restore it, i have to actually hit my sound icon to turn it back on.

2. You have to manually add and edit each and every contact, not only by editting the contact.txt file but also the actual contact pic therefore you cud never easily just change your favorite 9 contacts direct from your device. And once I edited the pics and placed my own in its place, the pic showed in the large photo area however it removed the small pic from the side that u actually click on

3. the bottom nav bar doesnt actually slide (like throttlelauncher) u have to tap each icon

4. in settings when i change the wallpaper, it changes but once u soft reset it goes back to the default wallpaper

5. u have to manually create your music album pics. i dunno bout anyone else but i have like 1000 songs on my mem card....theres noway im creating pics for all those and the standard album cover looks completely deformed when it shows in the window without editting it.

6. when pressing the option to call one of the fav 9 people from the manilla screen, it doesnt direct dial, it takes me to the confirm calling this number page which makes my keyboard auto pop up...every time.

7.And as I said before, its a little laggy, actually mine is VERY laggy

8. after soft reset the text (showing date and missed calls and name of tab) blacks itself out and doesnt reappear until u tap to change tabs

Now these may be minor issues for someone else but there a little annoying to me so I decided to go back to my old diamond skin but I still think its a visually great skin and I would be happier as yuck duck (lol) to use it later on once some of the bugs and kinks are worked out. You can tell that the creator took alot of time in trying to get everything mapped right but some things just didnt work. Call me lazy but right now its just too much stuff to have to do manually for my taste. Im a new age girl, I like tap and click method. Again this is my personal taste, just wanted to give a little insight on some of the "glitches" to let people know

are you kidding!!! all you have to do is go to start/settings/personal/today/plugins and check it...... make sure it is the only one checked

I really enjoyed this theme however it's LAGGY :(

Would have been a great first mod to my custom rom if it wasn't for that. Now i have to figure out how to remove it cleanly.

Thanks for all the hard work that went into this i'll keep an eye out for the more developed version.

This is a beautiful theme. LOOKS great when installed.

But..
In addition to being laggy, what takes away from the coolness of the app is that when launching the standalone app, the icons scroll smoothly and I didn't receive any errors when clicking on the different icons. However when using the today plugin, you can only tap each icon instead of having them scroll (previously mentioned). Not REALLY a big deal, but I think smooth scrolling is cool. =) With the standalone app, I'm not sure how to make the appearance of each screen view the same as the today plugin.

I eventually gave up when my phone continued to freeze up after several soft resets. Finally did a hard reset and now it's gone gone.. =(

Still think it's a beautiful theme and I'm sure a lot of work went into it. Thank you very kindly to the developer. I look forward to updates.
