Re: Htc Diamond Mp3 Trimmer (freeware)

I'm trying to use this on my HTC Touch Pro. I'm able to trim a song, put it in the "my ringtones" folder, it plays great when I test it, but when I call the phone....no sounds. In fact, I have my phone on 'vibrate, then ring" and it does not vibrate either, no vibration, no ring.
Anyone help?

huh, what type of format is it saved as? also you can try
Code:

http://www.cellsea.com
and there you can make them and check out thousands and thousands of already made ones..... very easy to do and you can email the ringtone to yourself, text it there, or download to pc so they give you many options with is nice :)

I don't really know what format its in. You just trim the song, the software gives u options to save to ring tone folder, set as default RT ... So I save to folder and then select as a ring tone, but no sounds!!!
If I download from that site, where is the default ringtones folder

do you have the option to choose the ringtone period? if not it has to be on the root of your storage card or in the My Ringtones folder under my documents..... if still doent play and you have in one of the two spots than i would try to remake since sounds corrupted.

Yes, you have the option to just choose "save to ring tone folder." I tried downloading one from the cellsea site and saved it to "my ring tones" the problem seems to be in the phone settings menu. When I go to "settings > sounds and notifications" none of the downloaded or trimmed tones play, just the ones that came preloaded. I can see them listed but they don't play.
Any clue?

I'm running Star 20, u think that's the problem? I can't seem to select either a created or downloaded ring tone in the phone's settings.

I guess maybe it is time, but I hate to keep reflashing, trying to find something to stick with for good. I hate to keep reinstalling apps. Didnt think that was such an old ROM however.

A good way to is too have all your apps you install after flashing or hard reset in one folder on your phone then when you ready just go down the line and install. Once you flash enough you get super quick at installing haha !!!!!!

OK, but I am not sure I understand how to do that. When it comes to my games, I put them on the SD card. Other apps I install to the phone.
How do you install apps to one folder on the phone, and is it possible to move them to one folder now after they have been installed?

Ohhhh, I see.. now I get it. I was thinking of something else. I guess that's the only way to do it, but it still requires re-installing all the apps one by one.

yes its not that hard of a process to click and such but if you have a lot of cabs and bog your phone down with installing them all try an app like sashimi and watch the video tutorials on how to use on youtube and that will auto install the cabs and more (when set up) isnt too bad to set up honestly and hope that hhelps you out some.

Thanks, as always, you've been a BIG help. My biggest problem has been to find a stable, fast ROM to stick with.
