Sprint Touch, is it worth it?
 

Whats up guys, I currently have the Palm Treo 700p. I'm leaning towards getting the Sprint Touch. I talked to a sprint representative and she said that I have a $150 upgrade and the $100 rebate that everyone knows about. So what should I do. should I get out and grab it or what? I love the features that it provides.

If you want a new phone now, the Touch is a good phone (even though I traded mine for a Mogul) but if you can wait I'd recommend waiting for the HTC Diamond or HTC Raphael to come out and get one.... I think they're supposed to be out Q4 this year. There are a lot of posts here on Wckediden about them if you want to know more.

Oh okay cool. Also because my treo is acting up and I have no idea why. It's ticking me off. The reason I like the touch is because it is all touch screen and the cube interface it uses.

i switched my mogul for a touch, (added anyway lol still have the mogul) and i couldnt be happier, mainly cuz i dont have to always memory manage, the Touch has twice as much RAM so its a bigger margin of customization you can do without worrying about memory issues (thats the biggest step up from the mogul) and added REV A and GPS, so the wifi and keyboard are the difference makers here

all in all, the touch is a slick, responsive, smooth device so i give it my full support if you are looking for an opinion

The only reason I chose the Mogul over the Touch was the keyboard. With that said, I am EXTREMELY happy with the Mogul, and look forward to seeing what all can be done with it. Just my .02.

Yeah I know what you mean. I was looking at the mogul too but I like the design and everything about the touch. I don't know much about the Touch specifications. i've been looking around. So you added a gps onto the touch? the gps wouldn't bother me but having it would make it that much better. lol. Also my other question was does it have wifi and I guess you answered that for me. i'll run out to get in hopefully this following friday coming up.

Hey I also noticed your from puerto rico. I have family up there and I go every summer for about 2 weeks. My family is in Luquillo which is between rio grande and fajardo I believe.

yup born and raised, i currently live smack in the middle of san juan, carolina and rio piedras lol!!! but i hang in rio grande from time to time (booty call lol)

lmao I know what you mean. It gets boring where i'm around. All my cousins work so I have to wait till they get out. I'm usually by the luquillo beach or the huts that are there. Last time I went I took my grandpas truck and went to the mall in carolina, some NICE VIEWS if you know what I mean lmao ! I actually bought my treo 700p over there in fajardo, I had nextel before but it doesnt work over there so I was like screw it i'm goin back to sprint.

I now own them both, cause my job gives me an allowance for phones... so I actually used them on phones this year... lol... I had the touch first.... and i tell you I loved it... especialy after i discovered Wckediden. The touch is fast, its tiny, dosnt freeze up, and is just the way I want it.... everyone who has seen my touch friggin loves it, thanks to you guys on here. now as far as the mogul goes... it took alot... and i mean alot of digging in the dirt to find just what i wanted... which is basicly omj's touch rom for the mogul, with ultimate launch so i have them set up identicaly... well almost... love the keyboard on the mogul, and the wifi is very usefull, hate that it freezes up a little more than occasionaly. and i miss that htc cube that the touch has... all my speedials were on there and im just annoyed i cant find it and put it on my mogul. If you can tho hold them in your hand, place them in your pocket to see if the mogul will be just too big for you... and get the hard rubberized seidio cover for the one you choose, it will protect it and still look cool. The touch does looks a little cooler than the much bigger mogul... and i prefer it, The Mogul is more impresseive... but you cant go wrong with either... you know something...you should just buy them both! i did...

thanks but i think that wcked got it covered with the site donations he cant get his dream server but its very nice right now.
